Brooke's pov

I woke up at 10 I want to go hunting today but dad will probably say now. I checked my phone an saw that I have a text from Colin

C- good morning beautiful! text me when you see this.

B- hey I just got up

C-it's fine I'm with my dad at the studio right now so I gtg. I'll talk to you later?

B- defiantly

I got a shower and changed then went downstairs to talk to dad

"Hey dad can I go hunting later?"

"No I don't want you to go alone" my dad said

"Come on I've been hunting by myself before so why can't I go now?"

"I just worry about you Brooke okay" dad said.

"I know you do dad but can you and I go hunting soon?"

"I would love that Brooke" dad said hugging me

My phone beeped meaning I got a text

"Who is that" my dad said

"Just a friend"

"Who?" my dad demanded

"Just one of my friends in Nashville, stop being over protective of me"

I walked upstairs and listened to Colin's songs

C-hey I'm back now sorry about that I was recording

B- it's fine, want to hang out today?

C- sure at your house or somewhere else

B- how about we meet up at Starbucks then come to my house

C-sounds like a plan be at Starbucks by 2

B- okay see you then

C- ok 2 o'clock beautiful

-----Colin's pov-----

I ended up putting on my jeans, boots, and a blue and red plaid shirt

"Mom dad I'm leaving"

"Okay see you soon" my mom said

I walked out the door and walked to the Starbucks since we decided to walk there and back. I found a table and right at 2 Brooke walked in I stood up and hugged Brooke

"Should we order?"

"Yes" Brooke said

"I'll pay"

" Hi, what may I get you today?" the cashier asked

"I'll take a crunch berry frap with extra hazelnut, grande." Brooke said

"I just want a grande ice French vanilla with cream and sugar"

"That'll be 7.55" cashier said

I hand her the money and Waited for our drinks.

About 20 minutes later we walked to Brooke's house hand in hand she went up to her room and I'm going to talk to her dad

"Mr.McCreery may I talk to you outside?"

"Sure colin"

"Can I ask out your daughter?"

"Sure but if you break her heart you're dead"

"Okay thank you sir."
