Anna and Kay were really exhausted. Kay was so exhausted, that she didn't feel like going back to her home. She stayed over at Anna's. But they still won't keep their minds at rest. The were still thinking about all the "coincidences" (As Anna would call them) and why the heck they were taking place. There had to be a reasonable explanation.

Anna was just lying on her bed, in the morning, with hundreds of questions swarming around in her head when she heard her mom call her-

"Anna! Anna! Come down for a sec, honey!"

Anna's mom worked at a bank.

She left Kay, who was still asleep on the sleeping bag and headed downstairs.

"What is it mom?" she asked.

"I'm leaving for California for a month, I need you to be on your best behaviour. I'll call you every two days. Okay bye sweetie,"

"Wait, what? You can't leave me here alone for a month!" Anna's mom never did that, she barely even allowed her to get outside the house on her own. What was wrong with her?

"Oh no, you won't be alone, Kay will be living with you," Anna's mom said.

"Me?" Kay said coming out of Anna's room, looked like she was eavesdropping, "My mother will never allow me to stay over here for so long."

"I have talked to your mum, she said she would love to keep you with Anna," her mom said, Anna thought it was so great that her mom was actually leaving the house, but at the same time she wondered if a spirit had gone into her. She was acting strange.

But then Anna realized something, she looked at Kay and the both of them mouthed-

The wish!

Was this supposed to happen in the fanfic? Anna wondered.

"I'll be back soon, I promise," Anna's mother said, she kissed the top of Anna's forehead and headed outside.

"And I have left a credit card for you to use, don't worry abput the expenses, Rick will pay them off afterwards," she said.

Rick was Anna's step-dad. She had a "okay" relationship with him. He wasn't too mean., or extra-nice, just...okay.

She bid good-bye to her mother who went off in her car still trying to process everything that had just happened.

"Oh my gosh," Kay said running upstairs. Anna followed behind her.

Kay went upstairs and just opened the drawer where she had fond the notecard. When she opened it, she found another notecard it read-

Nathalie's mom had left for the month. Yay! Party time!

Nathalie went up to her room along with Kay, her very best friend, and went up to her computer to skype with the omegle guy.

She just can't wait to see what he looked like!

"How can this happen? How did this note come in here? We checked the entire drawer yesterday, I didn't see it then!" Anna said throwing her hands up in frustration.

"What if..." Anna started.

"What if, what?"

"What if the new notecard only appears everyday, like in the morning or when the thing actually happens?" Kay guessed.

"But Kay, we don't live in some sort of magical "Harry Potter" type world," Anna said, making air quotations, "this is normal life."

"Just think about is, everything that has been happening to you, do you think that usually happens to everyone on a daily basis?"

Anna didn't know what to say.

"So, now what do we do?" she finally asked.

"Now, we skype the Omegle guy,"
