Happy Birthday Harmony!

Harmony Pov.

I wake-up and look at the time it is 12:00 p.m. I feel refreshed.

Today is April 23rd; my birthday. My birthday is on a friday, I don't have to go to school.

I look to the side of me and see Berkley half way off the bed.

I quietly laugh.

For about 5 minutes, I was debating if I should get up or keep laying down.

I got up and walked downstairs into the kitchen, that is where I saw my 2 uncles.

" happy birthday " They said at the same time.

" thank you." I replied.

They hugged me.

I sat in the chair, looking bored as ever cause I didn't know what to do.

" happy birthday." I heard someone say behind me.

I turned around and saw Berkley.

" thank you." I said.

She smiled.

Berkley walked our to me, sat in my lap and hugged me tight.

I hugged her back. We didn't let go go about 5 minutes. My legs started to go numb.

" get up." I whined.

She smiled and shook her head.

" please." I pleaded.

She got up and sat on the couch. I turned the tv on to Criminal Minds.

I heard a groan. I looked at Berkley and she looked upset.

" what is the problem, this is my favorite shows." I said.

Berkley rolled her eyes.

" what are you doing for your birthday today?" she asked.

I thought for a second.

" um ... I wanna go to Elle's." I said.

" ELLA'S IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN ARKANSA." I yelled.

Uncle Meho, CeCe and Aunt Kami came into the living room laughing.

" she loves that place." Uncle CeCe commented.

I nodded.

" what time you wanna go to dinner?" Aunt Kami asked.

" 5 p.m." I replied.

I got up the chair and ran upstairs to my room to get dressed.

I walked to the closet and just stared at the different clothing in the hangers.

I chose a black sleeveless shirt, pale pink pants, a pale pink blazer, and black ankle boots.

After I found my clothes, I went into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth for 10 minutes.

I turned on the radio.

Then I stripped my pjs off and hopped in the shower.

A great song happened to come on so as I was showering I was singing.

Another day
Of painted walls and football on the TV
No one sees me
I fade away
Lost inside a memory of someone life
It wasn't mine

I was already missing
Before the night I left
