She was adopted by Natasha when she was a baby. She knows hardly anything about her real parents, but never dared asked Natasha. Some people think she's her real daughter because of the red hair, which was brown when she was a child so wasn't on purpose. She became a very good fighter and always wears her spider pin, to remind her of who she's become.
