"You have told me barely anything about this guy," Jess comments as we walk down the street of our hometown, holding take-away coffee mugs from our favourite store.

No matter how far you strayed, as it turned out, nothing would ever beat the coffee from the stand-alone cafe on our high-street.

"What do you want to know?" I ask her, raising an eyebrow slightly, unsure of how much depth I could afford to go into in regards of what Tom did for a living.

"What was his name again?" Jess asks.

"Tom,"

"No, like, his full-name. Jared said he knew him but wanted to double check that it was the same guy,"

"Tom Holland," I answer. "How does Jared know him?"

"They went to school together or something like that,"

"Weird coincidence," I laugh. Recently I had been trying to like Jared more but no matter how I looked at him, the guy always came across as an asshole, but I acted nice to him, of course I did, because he was important to Jess and Jess was important to me.

"You heard anything from Louis recently?" Jess asks and I nod.

"Yeah, I think he's coming home soon, doesn't want hi s Mum to be alone on her birthday,"

"We should pick him up from the airport!" Jess gasps and I laugh at the suggestion.

"With a massive, obnoxiously colourful sign?" I suggest and Jess nods in excitement.

"Find out what date he flies back home and we can pick him up, we'll call up James and he can come too,"

"Ollie may be on leave by that point, as well," I add and Jess giggles, literally almost jumping up and down in excitement.

"Dude, chill, we don't even know when he's coming back yet," I laugh and Jess shrugs, putting an arm around my shoulder and pulling me to her side as we walk down the street.

"I'm just excited by the idea of us all being back together again,"

"You're a cheesy dumbass, you know that?" I ask, raising my eyebrows and she gives me a wide grin.

"I'm your cheesy dumbass," she announces before pressing a large kiss to my cheek, complete with sound effects that made me scrunch up my face in disgust.

"What are you doing right now?" I ask Tom over the phone that afternoon. I was out walking the dogs over to the sheep that needed herding.

"Right now?" Tom asks and I can almost hear his eyebrow raising across the phone line.

"Yep," I respond, opening the gate to the pen.

"Just some paperwork," Tom tells me and I smile before whistling to get the dogs to start herding the sheep. "What are you doing?" He questions, chuckling a little.

"Just herding some sheep," I reply, grinning at the laugh he lets out.

"By the way, Pads wants you to come to this football match he has soon," Tom tells me.

"When is it?"

"Not this Thursday but the Thursday after, he also wants to play football with you," I smile, Paddy was adorable.

"Yeah, I should be able to come watch. Though I'm slightly wary of playing with him, it's been years since I had a kick around," I tell Tom, getting the last of the sheep into the pen and closing the gate behind them.
