The next morning I woke up at six o'clock, jumping out of bed and beginning to get ready.

I went to my closet and pulled out black high-wasted shorts and a Greenday tee to tuck into them. To too off the outfit, I added button on suspenders, and a fedora. I set my outfit on my bed and went to the shower.

It never really takes me long to get ready. My thin hair always dry before I can blow dry it. So I flat iron my hair and put on light make-up. I finished getting dressed, and slide on a pair of black Toms.

I heard Joy shuffle into the kitchen and pour herself a cup of coffee. I skipped into the kitchen and smiled brightly. When I saw her, I took in her restless look.

"Hey Joy," I smiled, pouring myself a cup.

"Well you're up early, dear," she smile sitting at the table. I poured two packets of sugar in my coffee and took a seat across from her.

"Yeah, I'm just excited to be here. I just wanna see the whole town!" I exclaimed.

"Oh really, because I think there is something else," she smirked at me, slowly waking up.

"Well there is a boy," I smiled thinking of him.

"Oh yeah, tell me about him," she chuckled.

"His name is Michael, and he has almost the same personality as I do," I gushed. Joy looked up from a sip of her coffee.

"I know Michael, he's one of Calum's friends. He comes over to play video games in the basement with Calum and Ashton," she smiled at the thought. My mind reeled for a minute.

I wonder if Joy knew about Calum being bullied and only having few friends. My last reeling thought was about the basement, I didn't know they had a basement.

"Yeah, he's a sweet boy," I giggled at the thought of him from last night. Joy looked at me and smirked.

"When is he picking you up?" She asked.

"Well actually I'm meeting him at Starbucks, at ten," I began thinking of ways to get there. In the middle of my thoughts, Joy sighed.

"I'll have Calum drop you off," she smiled wearily.

"Thank you so much!" I yelled jumping up and down. She laughed at me in a joking way, and shuffled back down the hall.

While waiting for Cal to get ready, I texted Michael.

"We still up for Starbucks today?" I got an instant reply.

"At ten. How could I forget?" I chuckled quietly to myself.

"It happens."

"Not on my watch. Wait I don't own a watch XD" I just let out a full blown laugh.

"Haha well I guess that puts a damper on things, yeah?" Again I got an instant reply.

"Wait, that doesn't mean you're canceling our date, does it?"

"Not at all, but I didn't know this was a date." I giggled.

"Dang forgot to tell you. Oh well. Hey I'll see you at Starbucks, I have to go because I'm headed out right now." I liked that. Not the fact that he headed out almost instantly. No I liked the fact he gave me an explanation to why he wouldn't reply if I texted him.

I know it sounds crazy, but I'm just tired of letting things slip through my fingers.

Cal hopped down the stairs, and greeted me at the door.

"Where are we going today?" He asked happily smiling. Oh no, I couldn't tell him that it was just going to be Michael and I. He looked so happy. Luckily, I came up with an instant idea.
