"Did your Mom never tell you to not sneak up on a girl when they are walking home." Trying to calm my breathing.
"Yes, But I wanted to say sorry for what happened earlier." God, I hate people that try to suck up to other people.
"It's fine that you told why would you listen to someone like me when you are a rockstar." That just came out. I covered my mouth with my hand. Hopefully, he wasn't paying attention.
"So you listen to my music I didn't take you to be a BVB fan." He was saying this with proudness. Cocky much.
"Don't get cocky your not my favorite." With that, I was walking fast to my house. It was a nice house don't get me wrong it's just I hate the bill for it. I was almost home when I notice that he was still walking with me.
"So do you want to come in. I still need to make dinner for Alex." I unlocked the door and we walked in. He looked like he never seen a house before.
"So who do you live with." I guess I never told him. Meh.
"I live with my brother and that is it." What is so fascinating with the house it looks like a normal one. White Walls, grey couches and a TV. Normal Kitchen.
"Well, how do you have a nice house. Ops I don't mean that in a bad way but I thought that you were only 17 what kind of job do you have." Wow, he thought that I had a nice house shocking. Because he had a nice house too.
"Well I sell my art for money and people buy it." I don't like to brag because that makes me feel like I was a bad person.
"What kind of art do you do because I was hoping that I could get a painting for my room." I never thought that I would hear those words because I keep the stuff I do low
" Well, I can do black and white drawings I can do color but not as good." Because one time I did a color drawing I mix the color and it came out brown for a color that was the opposite from it.
" What type of Batman drawing would you like a yellow and black symbol or him-him self." Knowing him that is what he wants. What Alex and I like the band. Plus it doesn't help that he has a tattoo of him on his arm.
"Batman painting. And I want him himself. In Black and white. How did you know that I wanted that." After he was done talking I pointed to his arm and he laughed. I joined him and walked to the kitchen and go out things for lasagna. Put it in the oven and put the timer for an hour waiting for it to be cooked. While I was waiting I was getting the table ready Andy helped and I walked to get my brother.
"Alex, dinner is ready." He looked up and ran up and hugged me.
"I thought that they killed you, Where were you and why didn't you tell me." Worry was in his voice. He always worries I don't like it he shouldn't have to. He should be playing games with friends and doing homework.
" was at a friends house they helped me. Now dinner is ready come on let's eat." And with that, the timer went off I ran to get it But Andy got it out and cut it.
"Is this who I think this is. Why didn't you tell me you know that I love the band." He said this while lightly punching my arm. I pretended that it hurt me and fake cry.
"Sorry did I hurt you." Alex was saying this while rubbing my arm. Laughing a little.
"Joking now eat. I don't want you to starve and you to Andy." Walking up stairs I got into pj and ran downstairs. While doing this I grabbed ice from the freezer and put it in a bag and plastic wrapped it to my side.
"I thought you said that they stopped hurting you," Alex said I know that I should have told the truth but I hate to think that my brother can't have a normal life. It's already bad that he has a bad sister.
"I don't want you to worry so stop bugging and eat. I have to go to the shop tomorrow so I will be back late." Apparently, I have to work late because Sally had to have a day off.
"But I thought that you had a day off. When will we have a day to ourselves, Again." Alex said with sadness
"Alex if it were up to me I would stay here but I have to pay the bills. But on the bright side, I will have next weekend off. So we could go to the mall." Trying to make it up to him. Because I am the only motherly figure that he has now.
"Sorry for asking but what is the shop." Andy was saying as clueless as a bird.
"The shop is a tattoo shop that I work at. On the side nothing special." Because sometimes that is what I like doing if I have a good day. Most of the time I wouldn't have to work late but Sally wants to stay at her boyfriend's house. After dinner Alex went to bed, I stayed awake because I know that he is going to have a nightmare. After a half an hour.
"It was nice of you to help me. Most people would have walked around us. People are afraid that they would land in the same boat as me. I have a question why are you new at school?" I thought that he went to a different school.
"I came here because I would get bullied but not as bad as you though." It looked like he saw a broken girl in me.
"Well, I would like to thank you for helping me. Thank you." I said while i was bowing for him. We laughed and watched TV. Until I heard a scream and walked up the stairs and went into Alex's room.
"Hey It is okay they aren't here anymore. Shh. What song do you want to hear today." Knowing that he wants his favorite song from me call when we were young.
" Would you do When We Were Young." I nodded and sang when we were young

"What was that about. Why was he screaming." Andy said sitting on the couch.
"Well when my mother was trying to kill me she tried to kill him first so i tackled her and told him to hide and when he was hidden I tried to call the cops but she shot me and tried to drown me in the bath tub but the neighbor heard the gun shot and called the cops. Ever since that day he would walk up screaming and I would sing him to sleep with your music." When I was saying the last bit I was blushing a little, Because it was weird.
"Well I will walk you out your Mom is probably worried about you. Now come on time to go. Tell Ashely and Cc Hi for me and Alex if you can." Andy and I walked to the door and said goodbye and exchanged phone numbers.
" Nice meeting you bye" We went our ways I was walking to my room going to go to bed when i got a message.
A- Hey what you doing
K- Trying to go to bed I have work in the morning
A- Well good night
after that, I went to bed thinking about today.
