Can you make a person, who has given up on love, fall in love again?

I was facing the same dilemma when I met a wonderful girl who was so shattered that she didn't believe in love anymore.
And in pursuit to make her believe in love, I ended up losing belief from it myself.
But the question still kept haunting me and motivated me to write this novel.
