Anxiety

I'm a military kid. My dad is a retired navy Seal. I've always had anxiety that my dad wasn't gonna come back when he was on deployments. I'm one of the luck ones. My dad did come home. My neighbor on the other hand he didn't. He was in the extortion 17 helicopter crash.  I've just come to terms with my anxiety. It's not a choice having a parent in the military. You have to share them with the whole country. It sucks. Everyone thinks that us military kids have no problems but we do. We hide them from everyone including our parents. But we wear that badge with honor. There will be nothing in the world that will make up for the years of not having a dad at home. We struggle. Be nice to those kids. You don't know the pain if you don't deal with it.
