<ANGEL>

Apparently, the night that the angel arrived, they all decided they'd stay and help me out on some hunts, or cases as they called them. I didn't need it, but I was still thankful, especially since it meant that Sam was sticking around. However, it seemed that them sticking around was just an excuse because they just seemed to interrogate me the entire time.

"Your parents know you're okay?"

"Why are you so tense around Castiel?"

"Why do you hate angels so much?"

"Why is the town hidden from angels?"

"Why do you live alone in an abandoned church?"

All common questions that I'd prefer to avoid but that kept being asked. At least Sam was asking because he honestly worried about me, but Dean was doing it because he just wanted to solve me like a puzzle.

I hadn't spoken to Loki in a while. He was still giving me toffees, but I had been so busy with the Winchester brothers and their pet angel that I hadn't gotten to sit down and just have a laugh with him and I was starting to worry that he'd thought I'd replaced him.

The brothers stuck around for a couple of weeks until my least favorite day of the year rolled around: Halloween.

<SAM>

It was October 30th and I was headed over to the church to check on Angel since Dean wanted to hang out with Cas, alone, but when I got there, it was empty. I knew she wasn't on a case because she had started to ask me if I wanted to come on all of them, which was tiring but nice to get a break from hunting with Dean. I thought for a moment before remembering that she had mentioned that she liked to spend her free time in the library, so I left the church and headed that way.

It didn't take me long to walk from the church to the library, barely 5 minutes, and as I entered, I immediately spotted a head of hazel hair that was pulled into a high ponytail at one of the computers and headed over.

"Hey." I smiled as she jumped at the sudden person talking to her before seeing it was me and smiling back.

"Heya Sasquatch." She replied with a smirk and pulled a chair over to all her messily laid out books and scraps of paper.

What was it with that nickname? She had started calling Dean 'Chihuahua' to me and just 'asshole' to his face. "What you up to?" I passed over the nickname thing and looked at all the books and her tapping fingers, which I started to notice she did when she was stressed.

"Research." she said biting her lip and frowning.

"You seem stressed about said research." I commented, and she looked up with a sassy smile.

"You would be as well if you knew my history with this research." She commented like the research was an ex of hers which made me laugh as I sat down on the pulled-up chair.

"Want to fill me in?" I questioned with a smile, scanning the headlines of the news paper clippings that were scattered around her. They were all about a serial killer: The Halloween Killer.

"Yeah, um... where to start." She moved her pen to her ear like an artist and started rummaging through the mess she had created. I noticed she acted very differently in different situations. Whenever she was around Castiel she was tense and kind of mean, with Dean she was snarky and very sassy, with me she was more relaxed and smiled more. She pulled out a newspaper clipping and handed it to me. "The Halloween Killer. He's the town's most famous serial killer. He has killed 5 people every year for... Um... well since the town was founded... Which no one knows exactly but basically he's killed a lot of people."
