Rainy days
Tarried waits
Time long overdue
Distant bonds
Heartfelt wants
Tested time and time
Patience
I will practice
And I hope

Heartstrings
Stretched apart
Straining at the seams
A boy I am
Of many hearts
I must bring them
all to one
My last gamble
My last round to play
My win I take it all
A man I am
Of many hearts
They must all belong
To one
A heartstring
Holding my last breath
Determined not to lose again
Patience
I have all but mastered
My hope
Is yours
Bonds are closer
Observed by the heart
Notwithstanding time
