Julia's PoV

Later on that day i walked around the neighborhood . it was a very good neighborhood to. they had the boys at the basketball court , and nailshop on the corner . i decided to go and look for my brother at the basketball court .

When I walked in the basketball court there was like two bus loads of boys there . most of them were whistling and some stayed quite . i quickly saw my brother and ran over to him .

" Umm tyler its time for dinner " i said

"Well tell mom i'll be a little late , noolen wants me to come to his house . " He said

" Wait noolen ? " i said kinda confused

"Yeah me , why , you wanna join ma ?" when I heard that voice my heart melted

I turned around and saw him . he had on some grey basket ball shorts with a neon green shirt .

" No I'm good " i said knowing well i wanted to

" Well tyler i guess i back up for you , see you later tyler " i waved and walked away

As I was about to walk out the basketball court a boy with some green eyes and nice body stopped me .

" Wassup ma ,what's your name ?" he said

"Julia " i said quietly

" Nice name for a nice face , well I'm Daniel " he said smiling

I shook his hand

" Well can I get your number ? " He said laughing

"Sure " i said giggling

I gave him my number and he have me his .

" Well i'll call you tonight if that's okay with you ?" he said

" Yeah around 10 maybe ?" i said

"Sure " he said

And with that I walked out the basketball court

8:00 pm

I was walking in the house when I saw my mother start setting the table

I quickly tried to walk to my room but she saw me and called me over .

" Julia you haven't talked to me ... " She said

" Mom me and you aren't mother daughter type like in the movies , we are too different . " I said looking away

" Listen Julia i have something to tell you , just hear me out ." she said

"Fine you have 3 minutes " i said

" I have a brain tumor , i've been having it for two years now , the doctor told me if he can't remove it then I might pass on . "

When I heard that I wished i would've gave my mom my life for her to talk to me

" A -a brain tumor ? " i said nearly in tears

" Yes you and tyler haven't known only Jessica and Kelly and Michael did , but -

" How could you not tell me that you might die ,!?" i said becoming angry

I ran upstairs and banged on Kelly's room door , she better be ready for impact

I busted the door open to see he laying in bed on her phone

" What the hell -

I punched her straight in the moth like four times

" How could you not tell me my own mother was DYING , you didn't bother to tell me or tyler ! " I yelled

I ran out her room to Jessica's room , i busted her room door in to she was napping

I busted her lamp and pulled her covers off her bed

" Julia stop -

I smacked her in her face the punched her

I knew i was going to have to put up a fight with her

She punched me back and I pushed her into the hallway then she shoved me into the mirror in the hallway causing it to shatter

I saw Michael running towards me trying to get me off Jessica i punched him in his face the kicked he manhood

" This whole family is messed up , how could yall keep something like this away from me and my brother !" i yelled

I ran downstairs and out the door into the darkness

I didn't know where to go so went to the basketball court to find my brother

When i finally mad it there he wasn't there so i asked one of the basket ball players did they might know where noolen lived ....they showed me and I ran there

When I got to his doorstep i banged on the door and heard footsteps then the door open

When noolen opened the door i ran into his house

"Where is my brother ? " i yelled

" Aye chill ...can't be running in my house " he said

" I said where i my dang brother ?" i said

"I'm right here, what you need fam ?"
