59. THEY ARE HERE

As I drive to the hospital, I can't help but start to think back to the day that Zander tried to kidnap my Shelly.  I still can't believe it has been a little over seven months since that happened.  We are finally completely moved in, and with everything that happened, we decided to wait till after the twins were born to have a party to reminisce with all our old high school friends and some college friends that are coming into town.  I am going to smack her upside the head I do not know what she was thinking.  The doctor told her stress the dad told her with the witness statements the bug that Blake had in the car and the video surveillance she did not need to go to Zander's hearing but nope she just had to go.  Now I am stuck driving like a madman to the hospital.  She was so mad when I forced her to get a check-up after the near fainting incident that day.   The Dr. put her on bed rest turns out that she had high blood pressure that day and he was afraid she might develop pre-eclampsia, so he didn't want to risk it and notified us that an attorney's day was too stressful.  

I run into the hospital and just as I am asking the nurse for Rochelle Flynn I hear my crazy brother "Hey, bro she is in labor and delivery room 402 she wants you and she is scared you're mad at her."  "Come on I know she wants you there.  Yes, I am mad at her she promised she would let dad and Blake handle that asshole."  We walk into the elevator, and I push the button for four.  "Noah, she needed this it was closure for her.  The trial didn't do this she has been keeping secrets from us."  "What do you mean?"  "Remember this morning when we thought we should have brought her here?"  "Yeah, but she said it was just Braxton hicks." The elevator dings allowing Lee and myself to get off.   "Well, she was already in labor.  Silly girl now don't worry the twins haven't been born the last time I was in there they were five minutes apart."  I make it to the door as I hear my angel yell "WHERE THE FUCK IS HE JUNE.  IF HE DOES NOT MAKE IT HERE BEFORE OUR TWINS OUR BORN I AM GOING TO CASTRATE YOU SON AND MOVE IN WITH MY TWIN."  I look at Lee "I can not believe that is my sweet Shelly saying those things to mom."  "I would get in there if I were you."  "NOAH FLYNN I HEAR YOU GET YOUR ASS IN HERE NOW OR YOUR SLEEPING OUTSIDE."  I walk in and smile at her "How is my hot sexy wife doing?"  "Let's see I am about to push out to watermelons out of my body how the hell do you think I am."  "Well, at least your better than Rachel she yelled at Lee that he was never touching her again."  "If you don't stop being a horses ass, you won't touch me either, and I will just marry Lee and share him with Rachel."  I growl at her and walk up grabbing her hand "Never your mine, and I won't let you go."  About this time the Doctor walked in and said it was time.  It was the worst time in my life watching my Shelly go through so much pain, but I knew, in the end, it will be worth what we are currently going through.  I talked her through every step we were taught in class and let her vent her feelings.  I don't know how many times she threatened to castrate me if I didn't shut up but all I could do was chuckle.  

When we heard the cries of our first born our son I couldn't help myself but smile so big.  Just hearing his little voice I was head over heels for him.  While they were cleaning him up my Shelly was back at trying to bring our daughter into the world this time.  It didn't take long this little angel literally came out screaming I couldn't help but chuckle and look at my gorgeous sweet wife "Well looks like she is going to take after her mama."  "Yeah, and you have a problem with that Mr. Bad boy."  "Nope, it just means I am going to very busy teaching our son and nephew how to protect their sister and cousin.

After the nurse put our little angels in our arms, the doctor looked at us and asked: "Do you already have names for them?"  I grinned "Yes we do, but we would like to tell the family first."  With that said I place our daughter in Shelly's arms and walk to the door and call our family.  As they walk in, I see Lee and Rachel holding Rochelle Juanita  Flynn and little Bradley Maxwell Flynn, and as for my beautiful niece's name, Lee decided to use Juanita after the neighbor across the hall since she called the cops and helped save Shelly.    Ok, guys now here we have Lee Mathew Flynn and  Mary June Flynn.  My mom couldn't help herself and ran over to little Mary and picked her up and started talking "Hey little Mary you know I was your maternal grandmothers best friend, and she was a wonderful woman.  When you start to remember things you will see the friendship we had whenever you look at your mama and Uncle Lee.  If ever you need to know about her don't be afraid to ask."  I look around the room and say "I expect that of all of us for our kids they need to know Mary and how even though we lost her she meant so much to us."  I look down at my Shelly "Baby, I love you with every ounce of my soul, and today right now you have fulfilled every dream I have had since the day I fell in love with you.  Thank you, baby."  She smiles up at me "Same here baby same here."
