Chapter Twenty

Nicki POV

I was at Walmart buying a few things for the girls since they don't want real food they only want snacks I paid for the things and went to my car put the plastic bags in the back seat when I felt somebody tapping my shoulder I turned around and I saw this guy who was standing there smiling

"Hi can I help you Sir?" I asked politely

"Hey Cookie you look sexier when you doing your mommy duties, how's Ayanna doing?" He said smirking

"Who are you? How do you know my daughter?" I asked frowning

"I'm Terrance Stevenson" he said putting his hand out for me to shake and I just looked at it

"I know Ayanna is not your daughter that gangster boyfriend of yours killed her mother I wonder what will her family say when they find out that she was stolen by a drug dealer and a gold digging stripper or maybe I should tell the police" he said smiling evilly

"Please don't take her away from me I'll do anything you want please" I begged on the verge of tears

"Give me back my things I know you stole them and I know you drugged me"

"Look I don't have those things anymore just tell me how much you want and I'll give it to you"

"I don't want your money I want my things especially my wedding ring otherwise I'll report you to the police" he said getting angrier by the second

"I sold them and I don't remember the dude I sold them to please take the money"

He punched me across the face and grabbed me by my neck choking me I tried kicking and slapping him but I failed he let me go and I dropped to the floor

"You better have my things by Wednesday night or you'll regret the day that you became a stripper" he left me there

I wiped my tears and stood up I put the rest of the bags in the car and got in the car looking at my face I put a little make up to hide the bruise I sat there for a few minutes thinking about this Terrance dude before I drove home when I got home Meek and the girls were already there

"Mommy Nicki daddy get baby bear" Ayanna said looking excited

Did she just call me mommy?

"Daddy got you a bear?"

She nodded

"Lemme see it baby" I said excited

She ran upstairs without saying a word I turned to Meek

"Did she just call me mommy?"

He nodded

"Did you tell her to call me that?"

"Not really I think she got jealous cause Denim calls Na mommy and Ayanna doesn't call you mommy"

"Speaking of Denim, where is she? I asked

"She's sleeping"

"Okay we need to talk after the kids go to sleep" his mood changed when I said that

"Should I be worried?"

"Yeah but for now can you please help me get the bags from my car" I gave him the keys and he starred at me

"There's something different about you"

"You're seeing things" I said brushing him off

"I know I'm not but I'll find out" I mentally rolled my eyes and went to Ayanna's room to see what Meek and the girls bought they are so spoiled
