                      ~Steven's POV~
          "Thanks for the fun day out Y/n." I say with a smile as I descend from the top of his/her shoulders. He/she took dad and I out the whole day I guess to get Garnet off his/her mind, but he/she said it was to reward me and dad for taking care of his/her body when he/she had that near death experience with his/her father. "No problem Steven, I had a blast today playing at the arcade and riding rides with y'all today. It was fun." He/she ruffles my hair with a decent sized smile, the biggest he/she has smiled all day. I smile back at him/her. His/her face has lightened up some after we ate some, but its still a light shade of purple all over his/her cheek and yellow under and around his/her eye.
             "Yo Steven! Is that you out there?!" Amethyst yells from the house, "Yeah Amethyst! I'm just talking to Y/n! Wanna say hi?!" Silence makes up the atmosphere until she quietly steps out the door and closes it gently. She's leaning on the door frame with her head down and holding her arm, "Hey Y/n..." She says quietly. "Hey Ame." Y/n responds in a little louder tone than her's. We all just stay quiet for a moment until Amethyst decides to speak up, "Listen Y/n,... I'm sor-" Y/n automatically stops her with a tight hug, "Ame, you don't have to apologize for anything... You didn't do anything wrong."
             She returns his/her hug, "But if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't of got hit." Tears prick her violet cheeks and Y/n just let's out a small chuckle and pulls back from the hug, "Ame, he was probably gonna hit me anyways... He blames me for my father's death and I understand that, but..." His/her tone changes to slight anger with a hint of sorrow, "He shouldn't of did that... But, don't you dare think any of this," he/she draws circles in the air around his/her bruised face, "is your fault. I know you just got bored and that's fine, but he broke his promise to me to watch y'all when I took the girls on a date and he broke it. That's what angered me... My primal vampire instincts took control of my emotions and his werewolf instincts took control of his, so now... We aren't on the best of terms."
          He/she wipes Amethyst's stray tears with a small smile, "So don't feel bad, none of this was your fault... Its mine and my uncle's... Okay?" Amethyst smiles a little bit and hugs Y/n, "Thanks Y/n." He/she tightens the hug, "No prob Ame." Aweee, two of my besties are making up. This calls for a "Group hug!" I jump between the duo and hug them and they laugh, but return the hug. After a minute with the hug, Y/n stands up and breaks it. "Well, I better go and make sure the tides haven't washed out my bed." He/she thumbs back to the boardwalk. "Wait, what do you mean Y/n?" I arch a brow in confusion. "Yeah bro, what do you mean?" Amethyst asks again and Y/n frowns a little, "Well, you see..." He/she rubs the back of his/her neck, "I've decided to sleep under the fishing dock away from a lot of people..."
             I gasp, "Y/n! You shouldn't be staying there!" "Steven, I have no where else to go and I'm definitely not going back to father's castle." "Dude, you could just sleep in the lighthouse." Amethyst says with a "Duh." Following it. Y/n sighs, "I thought about it, but Garnet likes going up there so..." I think to myself for a moment after that idea is crossed out. Even when Y/n and Garnet isn't here together, they still think about each other's feelings. That's sweet. "Well, G isn't here right now. Ruby and Sapphire split last night." Amethyst informs Y/n and his/her eyes shoot open... "What?"
         I pat Y/n on his/her back, "Yeah, but they're still together, so everything is fine." I try to give him/her a reassuring smile, but his/her face turns tense as his/her brows knit together, "No, its not!" He/she turns around as he/she pinches the bridge of his/her nose. Its kinda nerve racking seeing Y/n upset. After a few seconds, he/she turns around to face us and he/she seems to have cooled down some. "Guys, I'm sorry I raised my voice, but I don't like when my fiancé splits up, especially over me..." I go over and give him/her a little leg hug, "Its fine, we understand." He/she ruffles my hair once again, "Thanks... But I'm still not sleeping at the lighthouse."
            He/she looks back at the dark silhouette of the boardwalk in the distance. We stayed out all day and after dad dropped us off at The Big Doughnut, Y/n decided to run me home... Literally. He/she sighs, "Well, I gotta go, but tell the girls and Pearl that I love them." He/she says with a small smile directed at us, then he/she hugs us, "I love you guys too." "Ugh, get off me weirdo." Amethyst says as she squirms from Y/n's grip and he/she just chuckles, "Alright." I look up at Y/n, "Are you sure you don't wanna come in the temple? You know your room is here." I try my best to persuade him/her to stay, but it doesn't work. "Don't worry Steven, I'll be home before you know it." Now he/she is the one giving me a reassuring smile and I just go with it. "Promise?" I ask with my pinky up and he/she wraps his/her's around mine, "My pinky promises." He/she let's go with a smile, "Now go get some shut eye soldiers." Amethyst and I both give him/her a playful salute, "Sir/Ma'am, Yes sir/ma'am." He/she rolls his/her eyes and returns the salute and drops it. "I love y'all." "We love you too Y/n!" I say with a wave as he/she flies off. I can't wait for him/her to come home.
