(A/n the story is mostly written in Jack's point of view unless i say so otherwise.)
Beep. Beep. Beep
"Five more minutes Jamie"
Beep. Beep. Beep
"Jamie!"
I roll off the side of the bed and hit the ground hard.
"Ugh" I look to my left. My stupid alarm clock... Oh no it's seven thirty! Santa is gonna kill me.
Lately Santa has been trying to find something for me to do that is "center friendly". You see, my center is fun, all I do is have fun. It's kind of a day job. I usually wake up and give children snow days, but sadly it's summer, an off season in my hometown.
I go through my closet and pick out my blue hoodie and black jeans before running towards the door to get my staff. Santa won't mind if I'm a bit late right?
I shiver as I hit the cold and brisk air after walking outside of Jamie's basement. The temperature has gotten very cold lately and many adults and children that don't believe in me are saying that starting to make Jones about how I'm responsible for this. The more people who say it though, are actually starting to believe it, Which means people can actually see me now. Now I have to be more careful to control my recklessness.
I walk along the summery streets past the card shop with the little old lady, past the bakery with their world famous cupcakes and finally past the old rickety house that has remained vacant for years.
It's weird how the cold weather doesn't match the season at all I think as I take my staff and fly off towards the guardians.
