Summary: You and Finn had been broken up for a while. What happens when you guys see each other on Jimmy Fallon?
Tonight. Tonight was the night I was going to perform on Jimmy Fallon. Up next to be exact while in the dressing room. Staring up at the TV, I noticed a very familiar face: Finn. He was the guest before me .. what a coincidence.
It has been a few months since we had broken up due to him cheating. He was here to sing a solo. The song was to his new girlfriend — how could he move on so fast? I hold in my tears, trying not to remember all the memories with him.
Now Jimmy was going to ask him questions. "So Finn how's your new girlfriend?" Jimmy asked, keeping his eyes on Finn.
Of course he'd ask that. I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
"She's great, you know. I mean yeah, I miss Y/n but Millie is the best thing in my life." He said.
I scoffed then heard a knock at my door.
Millie.
"What do you want.." I say, glaring right at her.
"I'm sorry, Y/n..I know you hate me." She says, with a soft look in the eyes. "I came in here to apologize.." She says.
"Ok.." I say, not knowing where this was gonna go.
"F-finn still loves you." She said and I looked at her.
"Sure he does." I rolled my eyes and she shook her head.
"He does but whatever.." She says before someone comes over to tell me that I was going on in five..

"Next is Y/n Y/l/n!" Jimmy said and I was on the stage for my performance. (Play the song)
I sang then soon finished the whole song, hearing everyone clapping and cheering. Now .. time for the interview.
"So, your new song, is it about someone?" Jimmy asked.
"Well my past relationships." I said and Jimmy nodded.
"Oh I see— So are you going to make new songs?" Jimmy asked.
"Yes of course." I said, smiling brightly.
"Do you have another song you would like to sing?" Jimmy asked.
"Sure."

"Thank you!" I said, soon saying goodbyes.
I went into my dressing room. Knock knock.. " Y/n?" I heard.
"Who is it?"
"It's Finn." God his voice...
"Come in.."
When he walked in, it almost felt that my whole world stopped. Something in me made me break the silence when he'd sat down across from me. "Is there something you need?"
"Look, Y/n.. I'm super sorry..it was a huge mistake. I regret everything I did." He said. "I still love you and all I think about is you..it's not working out with me and Millie and we broke up today..Look you don't have to forgive me but I want you back." He said.
This whole confession, made me get all in my head. Should I forgive him? I needed time.
"This is all so sudden.. I — I need time." I confessed and he nodded.
"I'd wait for you .. forever."
