I was getting ready for prom. I usually liked being alone but when I was with Boris I never wanted to. No, Boris wasn't my boyfriend, we are bestfriends. I do imagine dating him though. I was finished getting ready. I went downstairs and saw Theo and his date. Before they started dating and things like that I was a little mean to her. I still am a little. I feel super bad. I don't want to ruin my friendship with theo or even her.
We then went to prom. Music was playing. We were looking for Boris. "Boris will totally kiss you or date you tonight." Theo said nudging me. I giggle a little. We then spot him. With another girl. My heart sank. I then run to the bathroom. I started balling my eyes out. I liked him. I guess he doesn't like me back. I regret coming here. My makeup was running now. I would honestly be prom queen if crying was a contest here. I was sitting on the floor. I honestly want to run.
The door then opened and it was theos date, Anna (change the name if its your name). "Y/n?" She said. "Y-yes?" I said and she saw me. "Are you ok? What's up?" She asked. I was surprised that she asked me that. She hated me. "Look anna you don't have to be nice, I'm a b*tch to you and I feel so bad. I'm sorry for being so mean to you, I want to be friends please." I said and she hugged you. "I'm sorry I was mean too." She said and I hugged her back. "Ok so, what happened." She said holding my hand. "I saw Boris with that girl and I like him.. it just made me upset." I said. "Don't be upset y/n.. you can stay with me and theo." She said and I smiled. "Thank you." I said and she smiled and nodded.
We stood up and she fixed my makeup. I hugged her again. We then walked out and saw Boris, Theo, and the girl. We walked over and Anna held my hand. "Hi boris." I said. "Hi y/n." He said. "Who are these people?" The girl asked. I didn't know her name. "This is my friend y/n and theos date anna." He said. "Oh good- I mean cool." She said. What did she just say? I thought that prom was gonna be fun. Then a slow dance song went on. Boris's friend I guess went to the dance floor and went with another guy. Well i-i cried for nothing? I guess. Theo and Anna went to the dance floor.
Me and Boris stood there. I could tell from the corner of my eyes that Boris was looking at me. I smirked a little. He then took my hand. I looked at him and smiled. "Dance?" He asked and i nodded. We started dancing to the song. "Y/n.. I have to tell you something." He said. I looked into his beautiful eyes. "I... I like you." He said. "But honestly I don't like you.. I love you." He said. "Boris I l-love you too." I said and we leaned in and kissed.
I guess prom wasn't so bad after all ♡
