"I guess (y/n) is now the king of Asgard" Maria says sipping her beer as I put Thor's hammer back on the table he grabs it and turns to me "I-" he gets cut off by a loud screeching that causes everyone to shudder and I cover my ears "How could you be worthy? You're all killers" a voice says and we all turn to it "Stark" Steve says "Jarvis" Tony says and I look around finding Luka "I'm sorry, I was asleep or I was a-dream" the robot says "reboot legionnaire OS. We got a buggy suit" Tony quietly says "There was this terrible noise and I was tangled in-in.. Strings. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy" he says "you killed someone?" I ask, my mind going to Jamila "wouldn't have been my first call but down in the real world, we're faced with ugly choices" he says

"Who sent you?" Thor asks and Steve steps in front of me protectively pushing me back a little "I see a suit of armor around the world" Tony's voice plays through the robot "Ultron" Bruce says "in the flesh. Or, no, not yet. Not this chrysalis. But I'm ready. I'm on mission" he says "what mission?" Natasha asks "Peace in our time" he says and robots shoot through the wall and everyone instantly starts fighting. I use my mind to snap the robots in half and throwing them across the room. A robot comes from behind me flipping me causing me to land on the glass table "owww" I moan rubbing the back of my head and Steve helps me up. "Go get Jamila, get packed and you guys get out"

I run into the room where Jamila is, shaking her awake as I pack a bag for her and she sits up "what's going on?" She asks rubbing the sleep out of her eyes "you're going to stay with auntie Laura and your cousins for a little" I say scribbling down a letter for Laura and I pin it to her backpack sliding it on her "I love you" I say kissing her head and giving her a hug "I love you too mommy" she says crying "give this letter to auntie, me and daddy will come get you soon okay" I say opening a portal "okay"

I run back out killing a few robots before I hide behind the bar just to get a moment to stop the bleeding that's coming from the back of my head. When I stand up I see Luka get stabbed in the back, the weapon coming through his stomach and I jump over the bar running over to him as Steve destroys the robot "you're okay" I say catching him "hey, don't cry" he says choking "SOMEONE CALL FOR HELP!" I yell and he grabs my face calming me down.

"Listen to me" he whispers "I'm listening" I say and he gives me a bloody smile "you're going to be okay kiddo, you are smart, brave and powerful. The best mom I know" he says coughing up more blood "you have the support of the team and your husband, you guys will beat this thing because I believe in you. You're my baby sister by 3 minutes but you've always been the oldest by mind and heart. Give this to my niece and let her know I love her" he says taking his necklace off and handing it to me and I smile at him "I love you" I say "I love y-" he stops his whole body going limp and I start sobbing "no no no no no" I say shaking him

Few days later

I'm walking through an abandoned hydra facility and I feel some air when there shouldn't be any and I pause looking around

"I snatch the blankets off of me sitting up. I look over to see Steve knocked out beside me and I sigh getting out of the bed. I go check on Jamila when I notice her room is empty and I go into instant panic mode "Steve" I say checking every room and when I can't find her I get louder "Steve, Jamila is gone!" I say running into our bedroom and Steve is laying still on the bed and I walk closer and I see all the blood on the bed and I scream when I feel a sharp pain in the side of my neck and I can't do anything but grab my stomach as I fall to the ground and everything fades away

"(Y/n)" I hear but I can't shake it and I start getting shaken. When I come back to I'm on the jet  Bruce has a blanket and headphones on, everyone looks out of it and Clint is piloting. I sit up straight standing up and going over to Steve and I lay my head on his shoulder and he jumps looking at me and he smiles when he sees it's me and he closes his eyes and lays his head back and I intertwine our hands closing my eyes laying my head on his shoulder

"Hey we're here" I hear and I sit up wiping my eyes. I stand up walking out the jet and Steve wraps his arm through mine as we walk up to the house so that I can keep my balance "honey I'm home" Clint says and laura comes around the corner hugging him. Lila and Cooper run around and he hugs them. Jamila timidly walks around the corner "DADDY!" She yells crying as she runs over to us and Steve picks her up.

"Are you okay?" She asks rubbing her thumb over his cut "I'm okay baby" he says squeezing her and she looks around "where uncle Luka?" She asks "he's not with us anymore baby, he's with grandma and grandpa" I say rubbing her cheek and I take the necklace off putting it on her "he wanted you to have this to remember him, to know that he loves you so much and he'll always be with you" I say and she lays her head on Steve's shoulder burying her face.
