Long Distance Love

The morning of

I woke up bright and early for my first day of school. I was always super excited of the start of a new school year. Especially this year cause because I was going into middle school. But I'm not going to lie I was also super nervous I only knew two of my friends who were going to the same school but we will get to that a little later. We grew up in a small town in California where all our neighbors new each other. Which is a good thing but also a bad thing because whenever something happened everyone knew.

I got out of bed and laid out the clothes I would be wearing. I decided on wearing some light washed skinny jeans, with a green polo(because at my school we have to wear polo's), and a grey cardigan since it was a little chilly.

"Jade!!! Come down breakfast is ready!" I heard my mom yelling

I walk downstairs in just my normal pajamas which are baggy sweatpants and a v neck t shirt. As I walked down the stairs I heard my two older brothers fighting with each other like they always do. My oldest brother is named James he is a sophomore in high school this year. He's the tallest out of all of us he's 6'4" tan skin and brown hair. Next down the family goes my other older brother Micheal who is in 8th grade who was going to the same school as me this year. Micheal is almost 6'0" with light brown hair with tan skin as well. And then you have me I am 5'3 ( I got my moms genes on the height) I have long wavy brown hair, freckles, tan skin, and green eyes.

As I got to the table my mom saved me a plate since my brothers took most of the food like they always do.

"Thanks mom!" I said smiling as she gave me a kiss on the forehead

My dad is a lawyer worked in the mornings and sometimes during the night if he getting ready for trial and my mom works nights as a nurse.

"James you need to get ready to leave soon!" My mom said

Since he's in high school he leaves before we do. I just finished my breakfast and went back upstairs to start getting ready. I jumped in the shower as I got out I put on my robe and started to blow dry my hair. When I was done I decided to do a half up half down hairstyle today. As I put half my hair up in a pony I took some mascara and just put a light coat on my eye lashes. I wasn't allowed to wear a lot of makeup only mascara, blush, and lip gloss.

I went back to my room which is connected to my bathroom and changed into my clothes. I put on some brown boot and some stud earrings. I looked at the time and saw it was 7:15 and knew I had to get going cause school started at 8:00.
