I tried to keep up with his pace but he was easily leaving me behind, I snapped my head behind as I caught headlights coming towards.
"They're behind us!" I screamed up to him, he came and grabbed my hand and yanked me to keep up with him "come on!" he yelled while dragging me to nearby log cabin.
He burst though the door and dragged me to the back of the cabin
"Baby...." he started as he starred me in the eyes and blinked still having them closed "They are going to take you from me" he started again as his voice cracked towards the end and his eyes started to gloss over.
My body tensed at his words and I looked towards the ground. He lifted my chin with his finger "Here, it's for you to remember me by" he pulled out his pocket a silver chain with the word always on it.
"Always" I repeat and brushed my fingers over the letters as I clasped it around my neck. He gently pushed me into the closet and down to the floor "Stay" he said quietly. "Shawn.." I said as he closed the doors to keep me hidden.
"I'll love you always" he said through the doors as I could his footsteps slowly beginning to fade away I repeated back "I'll love you always"......
