Chapter Four~ Devon

Abigail P.O.V

I open my eyes to see I’m laying also Axel and Devon were here… My eyes go wide

“Devon!” I said and hugged him

“I missed you soo much... I miss him” I said starting to feel the tears coming

“I miss him too” he whispers, I pulled away as the tears still running down

 “H-how you b-been?” I said trying to smile but the tears won’t stop

“Abigail, he’s in a better place” he says quietly as he put his hand on my cheek.

“who?” I turn to see Axel sitting on the next bed.

“um my brother” I said looking at my hands, everything turn quite. Axel cleared his voice making us turn

“...so how did you guys meet?” he asked, I looked at Devon

“I was her brother’s boyfriend, I used to hang out at his house sometimes and that’s how I met Abigail” Devon said emotionless, Axel looked shocked

“Y-you’re gay!” he said, Devon nods

“But you don’t look gay at all” I looked at him confused, Is there a way gay have to look?

“you don’t have to look gay to be gay and I’m bisexal” Devon said you could tell the angrier in his voice

“Right” he said as he looked around the room, he seems kind of scared of Devon. Devon looked at me

“So you live around here now?” I shook my head

“I’m the transfer student, I live in california” I said

“I tried to look for you, but I heard social workers took you” I nod

“I had to meet other parents, no one wanted me cause I wouldn’t talk. But I met these awesome parents and they adopted me. They are my family and I love them” I said smiling, he smiles

“I’m glad you’re happy” he says

“wait you’re adopted? is that why you didn’t looked nothing like your sister?” Axel asked I nod and bit my lip

“Please don’t tell anyone” I said quietly, I felt someone sit next to me. I look up and see Axel

“I won’t” he said, I lifted my pinky

“pinky promise?” I said, he makes a breathtaking smile as he put his pinky on mines, I felt like little sparks go through my arm.

“I pinky promise” he says,  I let go and put my arms around his neck

“Thank you” I whispered, he puts his arms around my waist, making me feel something in my stomach like something warm but all over the place.

“Anytime” he whispers back, I felt his breath on my neck making me shiver. I was beyond confused on everything, Devon clears his voice making me pulled away. I feel heat spread on my cheeks, I touch my cheek. Blush… I never blush…. I look up at Axel, see him smirking. I turn to look at Devon to see him raise an eyebrow.

“I’m really confused” I said looking at the floor

“Confused of what?” Devon asked

“I don’t know, my body” I said to him. He was gonna ask something else when the nurse walks in.
