Nao woke up to the sound of a bird chirping,
as though it was telling him that it was time to wake up.
He opened his eyes,
only to find out that his vision was blurry.
His eyes were clouded, and he could only see faint silhouettes.
He panicked, and rushed to get up.
However, even though he used his strength, his body was fatigued.
A sharp pain ran on the back of his head.
"Nao, just lie down."
His mother was at his side, calming him down.
Her gentle touch was enough to free Nao form his panic.
"There, there..."
She caressed his hair, peacefully humming a tune which made him sleepy.
"Everything's going to be fine..."
As much as he wanted to look at his mother's face,
all he saw—
— was naught but a blur.
