Accidental kiss

Chapter 1: the kiss

It was a snowy winter morning in the city of PeaceVille, and a certain red head was sitting at a bench, awaiting her friends arrival. "Where are they?" Laney kept asking herself. She knew they should have been here by now. Then she saw her friend, Madeline coming towards her. " hey Maddie" Laney called to her best friend. Madeline waved back. " the boy's aren't here yet?" Madeline asks. Laney shakes her head. " They should be here soon" Laney says.

Just then, as if he heard the girls, Corey was seen walking towards them. "I'll be right with you guys, just gotta tie my shoelaces " Laney lied. She really was preparing to tell Corey her feelings. "Hey Corey" Madeline said, walking over to Corey, " Hey Made-" Corey started saying, but he started slipping on some ice. Madeline went to help him, but also started slipping. They slipped closer, and closer until their lips accidentally linked.

By the time Laney stood up, she saw Maddie's and Corey's lips together. She was heartbroken. Unsure of what to do, she ran away, back to her home.

" Sorry Maddie" Corey said casually, showing no sign of blush. " It's fine Corey" Madeline said, also not blushing. They both shrugged and turned to see Laney, but she wasn't there."Uh oh" Madeline said, knowing why she ran off. " Why would she just run off like that?" Corey wondered. Madeline face-palmed herself. " she saw us kiss!" She exclaimed. "Why would she care? She'd know it's an accident" Corey said. Madeline silently gulped. " Don't tell anyone I told you this, but Laney would care because she has a crush on you, just like you have a crush on her, she told me" Madeline explained. Corey's face went bright red. "She......Likes me?" Corey asks/exclaims. Madeline nods. " Ever since she met you" Madeline added. Corey's smile turned to a sad frown. " And because we accidentally kissed, she think we like each other. I've made a mess of everything!" Corey exclaims. " it's okay Corey, I'll tell her tonight that it was an accident" Madeline says.

Just then a text came in from Laney saying ' sleepover cancelled'. Madeline called Laney. Went to voice-mail. She sighed. " Guess we go to Laney's place and tell her" Corey suggests, texting the twins to tell them not to Come anymore. Madeline nodded, and they made their way to Laney's house.....
