The Takahashi Clan : Info

The Takahashi Clan has been around for many Generations. Being a well persevered clan, they continue on.
The Clan is located in Sunagakure, and has been located there for many generations, but that is not where they started. The Takahashi Clan originated from Kirigakure. But that was so so long ago. Long before Kairi was born, long before her father was born, long before even her great great great Grandpa was born. You could definitely say this Clan is old. But like any clan they have there quarks. The Takahashi Clan just so happens to be not great with keeping tradition. A lot of traditions have been long forgotten, but there are still very few traditions they keep up with. Like the Wedding Ceremony, and the Right of Passage Ceremony, even the Hidden Art Ceremony.

I'll start by explaining the Ceremonies, and than we'll move on to more about the Clan

Right Of Passage/ Wedding:
The Right of Passage is initiation into the Takahashi Clan, this occurs when someone marries into the Clan, or is born into the Clan. Ultimately this results in a gift, called "Hidden Mist Jutsu" as it's the Clans main jutsu. During the Ceremony the person whom is marrying in, or has just been born, is blessed with a light blue glowing mist, this Mist is only possessed by the Clan Leader. The mist than surrounds the person and seeps into the skin, intertwining with the persons Chakra, gifting the a certain type of Hidden Mist Jutsu.
For example: When Kairi was born into the Clan, her grandfather, the Clan Leader, gifted her with the jutsu, later on in life when she started her ninja training, her gift showed to be Hidden Mist: Mistappear, Kairi is the only one in the Clan who possesses this type of Hidden Mist Jutsu, as she is the only one who can output so much Mist, it hinders sight, and sound to anyone that has been engulfed in her Mist Jutsu.
Each Clan member has a unique Mist Jutsu. They all possess Hidden Mist Jutsu, but it is unique to that person. The Mist Jutsu is considered a gift from the Takahashi Ancestors.

Hidden Art Ceremony:
The Hidden Art Ceremony very seldomly happens. As it's a Ceremony where a dying member or already passed on member passes on there unique Mist Jutsu to someone of there choosing, usually it's next of kin or spouse.
However when a Takahashi member has be slain and is already dead, the Jutsu returns to the Clan Leader, and that's when the Clan Leader knows of who the deceased has chosen to pass there Jutsu onto. Than the Ceremony begins. The person who was chosen to have this Jutsu passed on, lays on a bed of lavender, and the Clan Leader spreads the glowing jutsu over the person, passing the Jutsu onto the person. 
This was the case for Kairi, as she lost both her parents at the age of 10. But the Hidden Art Ceremony was put on hold due to her father being the Clan Leader, his successor was his younger brother (Kairi's Uncle). The Clan Elder had to perform the Clan Leader Ceremony, and than shortly after, Kairi's Uncle performed the Hidden Art Ceremony, where Kairi got her Parents duel Hidden Jutsu. From there she possessed a duel Jutsu, that needed to be performed by a strong bond, so she was to hold onto it, until she found her great bond, but until than she learned to use the duel jutsu on her own. Which caused a bit of an appearance ulter. Her hair was changed blue. Although a couple people in the Clan had different shades of blue hair, Kairi wasnt born with it, it was changed at the hands of her parents jutsu.

Takahashi Appearance:
The Takahashi Clan, has certain aspects to there appearance. The hair, eyes, and build of the Clan are very specific. Let's go over what a Clan member could look like.
The most original appearance for someone in the Clan, is emerald eyes, with a very light brown hair. Or they would have a light green eye, with a bit of a darker hair.
Kairi's Uncle and his son fall under this category. Even Kairi's Uncle's adopted son, falls under this category. He only does because of the Hidden Mist Jutsu gift he received, when he was first adopted into the clan at a very young age.
The secondary appearance for someone of the Clan would be a darker type of blonde and light or dark blue eyes. Kairi's cousin Airi falls under this category.
The third appearance for someone of the Clan would be, noir, or dark dark brown hair, and a dark green eye. Usually it is the males that come out with this, it's very rare for a female of the clan to. Kairi's father and grandfather fall under this category.
And the last appearance and the most rare for the Clan would be a light or dark blue hair color, with emerald green eye, or a sky blue eye. Usually someone born with this appearance, has a bit more chakra out put, than the rest, or they have already been blessed with a special jutsu that will later in life be unlocked. Members born with this look will not be blessed in the Hidden Mist Ceremony, as it is believed they were already blessed by the ancestors.

Outfits:
The clan has a very "odd" style, if you will. The clan is known to wear baggy pants, almost cargo pants, or sweatpants, usually with a tight waistband. There tops are known to be tight to the fit, as it's easier to move around and not get weighed down by a baggy shirt. And they style, the iconic sandals that every ninja wears. Sometimes they do wear closed toe boots, but that's rare for a Clan Member to do so. The Takahashi Clans color scheme is usually dull colors, like shirt and pants being a light beige, or very light brown, and usually a lot of greys and blacks. The Clan will only usually wear bright colors on there waist, or have there headband being a bright color. (Airi wears bright colors as she is considered the physic of the Clan, so it differs her from the rest)

Takahashi Symbol:
The Takahashi Symbol has been around since the Clan baisvally started, it's a group of symbols, that symbolize the Clans bond, and well shows you are a member of the Clan.
On the 16th Birthday of a Clan member they are tattooed with this symbol. And if you are married into the Clan on the day of your wedding, as a part of the ceremony, the symbols are tattooed on to you.
The Clan member however can pick where the placement of the tattoo goes, how big it is, and if they want it vertically or horizontally. Usually members pick it to go horizontally, and a medium size, in places it will be most visibal to others around them. However it is not shunned to have it placed in a place where it is hidden. It's just members like to have it visibal as it identifies them to others, so they know, and don't ask.
