Fridaus's pov

"Waalaimusalam "

I answered mubaraks salaam while  he walked to the front door of the parlour. It's been really long since I saw him back here , Since the incident that happened when I saw him lying on the floor .

He gave me a huge smile and I welcomed him with a hug even tho I know he's been getting a lot of those from me lately

I missed him so much

"I like the way everywhere scents so nice "
He said while inhaling deeply

It looked somehow foggy from the bakhoor I put in the house

Plus , I was done preparing dinner ...So let's just say it did smell wonderful

"I'm glad you like it , But I'm mostly glad I have you back "

We both smile then I lead him to the dinning room while holding his hand and sitting him down on a chair

I served quietly while he kept on looking and me . I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking of

"A penny for your thought "

I voiced out

"I umm..I..I'm just so surprised honestly "
I think he was referring to the baby

"It's happening so fast right ?"

I helped complete what was mostly in his mind

"Yes...exactly "

He put his hands on the table and got a glass of water

"I'm so excited ..I really do not know how it's going to be ..."

"It's going to be overwhelming "
I say and laugh at him

I honestly find his reaction towards it cute

"Now , let's have dinner ...."

I smile while looking at him

"Together "
I said while holding his hands

The look he gave me...
It was filled with love and so many unspoken words

He quickly stood up and kissed me so gently
We got caught up in the moment then I decided it was time to eat

"Let's eat Mubarak "
I said while laughing

"No we'll eat later "
He said while smiling like a kid that just got a candy

I laughed his whole behavior out and finally got him to eat the dinner

"So , how has it been back here when I  wasnt around ?"

He asked after taking a sip of his zobo

"Well....I was really bored but halima and rukkayah kept on coming . They gave me good company "

"Oh , so you didnt miss me that much then "
He said with a serious face

"Mubarak of course I prefer your company "
I say with a smile

"Dont mind me , I was just joking "
He said while laughing

"I'll be honest . I want this baby to come just so baby number 2 comes soon too "
He said with a teasing smile

"Ohhhh ..oh...no no . I can't believe you..omg Mubarak "
I said while laughing and putting my palm of his face jokingly

"Firdauuuuus "
He said while laughing too

At that moment, everything was just perfect . I wanted it to last that way
Just me and him being happy

I was at halimas place and I couldn't believe it when I heard the good news

She was preggyyyy !

Omg!

She was really pregnant
Me and rukkayah kept on teasing her while she kept on covering her face

She was shy
Unbelievable! What has Ahmad done to our girl

"You guyyyys it's okay "
Halima said in a complaint voice

"No it's not "
Rukkayah said while taking her phone from her bag

"We're going baby clothes shopping"
She unlocked her phone and her hands kept on scrolling on the screen

"Check this cute baby overall I saw ..isn't adorable?"

Halima was smiling at the screen
She seemed to like it and I tottaly agree with it being adorbs too

"We're supposed to shop for fridaus, she's 8 and some weeks now "
She said while narrowing her eyes at me

"Oh..not to worry .  Mubarak has finished shopping for her already"
Rukkayah said and halima just sighed  in defeat

I'm glad I have the both of them honestly

I was 8 and some weeks.. honestly , I seem to forget it a lot now.  I didn't want to be scared that my due date was really close so I'm glad I forgot it a lot

I felt like checking up on Mubarak then I remembered that I forgot my phone in rukkayahs car
She offered to go pick it up for me but I insisted I'd go myself

I use this to do things when people insist on doing stuffs for me
"I'm pregnant, not disabled "
Trust me , it works
But don't forget to smile at the end.

I was walking on the staircase when ...water?
It was almost too late because I almost slipped

I held tight to the rail and said "bismillah "
Alhamdullilah i didn't fall

I got up and the first eyes I met were haneefs
What was he doing here ?

Well if you've forgotten ,this is his sisters house

Oh yh ...I was at halimas

"Firdaus"
He should please learn to stop calling my name .
He says it with so much emotion and I just can't help but feel somehow guilty?
Yes , I felt guilty

"Be careful firdaus"
He said while coming closer

"I'm okay haneef...thank you "
I said while adjusting my veil

"Alhamdulillah "

For a brief second, I wanted to apologise to him about the hospital incident we had
The marrying thingy
Then i decided to

"I'm sorry haneef "
He looked at me then i continued

"About what happe..."

"You don't have to firdaus "
He said while laughing
It was a bitter laugh

"No ..haneef...I didn't need to say that to you ..Im really sorry "

I looked at him then he gently nodded

"It's no problem..it's alright "
He then smiled and quickly excuzed himself

I could swear I saw his eyes a little bit watery

I'm so sorry haneef , I hope this is the best for us both

As if he could he could hear me ,I turned back and looked at him But I knew I wouldn't get a reply
Because he didn't hear me ..I said it all in my mind
