Pure Oblivion

Chapter 4

Harry POV

The moment I arrived to help the Avengers fight the evil robot I couldn't help but gape at the sight before me. 

Of course, those idiots would run into something without knowing the enemy they were facing. Stupid humans. Most of them were stumbling around like they were drunk, but I knew the witch was responsible. 

I made my way to Thor, he was stumbling around and mumbling about something I couldn't understand. "Come on big guy, we have to find the others."

 I took his hand and slowly found my way to Steven. I searched for the others for a little while before giving up. They must have been taken care of.

 I apparated us to the jet that was close by. The two blonds were still mumbling to themselves. Man, I wish I had a camera. 

I sat in front of Thor and easily gained access to his mind. I called out to him, bringing him back to the present. I noticed his eyes begin to focus and I couldn't help but give a small smile. "Welcome back my Lord"

 I said in a sarcastic voice before moving to Steven and doing the same thing. I stood and waited with the others for Clint, Tony and Natasha to return. "How did you find us?" Clint asked as he sat Natasha down. 

"It wasn't hard" I said as I moved towards her to help, but Clint blocked my way. "If you want me to help her I have be near her" I was getting angry now. 

"Clint it's fine" Steven said moving beside me. Steven moved Clint aside so I could sit in front of the woman. Once I had helped her I stood in front of the group. 

"That was a stupid move, it could have gone a lot worse. You're lucky I was there to help get you out of your own minds. It can be a dangerous thing getting stuck." 

I wanted to yell at them. I wanted to leave and never look back, but I couldn't no matter how much I hated it.

 "We have no reason to trust you" Natasha said. I glared at the woman. "Well while you guys were busy getting your asses handed to you, I was busy figuring out who you were going up against. Which you should have been doing, to begin with." 

"We did our research, how dare you try and put the blame on us" Natasha argued back. "Fine" I said moving away from them. "I hope you all burn in hell" I said coldly before leaving.

Was it childish of me, probably, but I couldn't handle them now. I removed my dagger from my pocket. The one the Avengers thought they still possessed. 

I swung around killing a demon that had tried to sneak up behind me. I had gotten so distracted by the Avengers I had forgotten about my own duties. I still had so many souls to collect. Man, why did I waste my time?

 I jumped onto the back of a demon and stabbed the creature repeatedly. If there was one thing I was certain of, it was that the Avengers could not do this on their own, they would need help.

Tony POV

"What the hell was that Natasha, we need him whether you like it or not. We agreed on this and here you are driving him away." 

"He can't be trusted Tony, I know you are starting to like him, but he is the enemy." I shook my head. "This is not the way it was supposed to go" I leaned against the control panel of the jet. I was tired and I didn't want to deal with this.

 "We won't defeat Ultron if you keep acting like a child." I yelled causing everyone to flinch slightly. "Where to?" I asked Clint at the controls. "A safe place"

(The whole Hulk thing was handled already)

Harry POV

Even though I had been away from the Avengers for a while, I was still very angry. 

It might have been the fact that I had not involved myself with humans for a long time, or anyone living. I could talk to the dead all I wanted, so I never bothered with the living.

 I sighed and watched the group at a secluded house in the country. The group was splitting up. This was Ultron's doing, I knew it. I noticed Thor walk out, he looked to be contemplating something. I was going to leave the group be, but the god noticed me. 

He didn't smile like he usually did. Instead, he just looked even more worried. "You're back I see" I nodded. "I don't really want to be here at the moment, but it is not up to me. The universe as a way of using me for its own gain." 

Thor chuckled "The universe uses all of us" I nodded my head. "You are leaving to seek answers, yes?" Thor nodded "I had a vision and... I need answers which I will not find here." 

I didn't say anything, just stepped back out of his way.

I had something I had to do as well. I could leave the others to hopefully not make fools of themselves.

They didn't know it yet, but this was just the beginning of something bigger.

I walked towards a figure standing alone.

A smirk graced the man's face as he made his way towards me.

"It's time you joined them, Loki"

"What makes you think this will go the way you planned?" 

"I don't"
