Tangled 2 - My Story (I am Rapunzel and Eugene's Daughter)

Kingdom Dance

Clementine's P.O.V:

"Thank you so much for bringing me here Flynn." "Oh, it is the least I can do." "Oh, look Flynn they are going to start the dance." "No, you go Clementine." I saw Maximus push Flynn forward. I laughed and got more and more people to join the dance. It was so much fun. I saw a woman with long Blonde hair which was the same as mine and a guy who had brown hair and looked quite handsome. Flynn then took me to the boat so that we could watch the lanterns. We got onto the boat and Flynn rowed out into the middle of the lake. I was putting flowers from my braided hair into the water when I suddenly saw a single lone lantern. Then all of a sudden the sky was alight with thousands and thousands of lanterns. It was absolutely beautiful. 

Clementine:  All those days, watching from the windows, all those years, outside looking in, all that time, never even knowing, just how blind I've been. Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight, now I'm here, suddenly I see, standing here, it's OOHHH so clear, I'm where I'm meant to be, and at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted, and at last I see the light, and it's like the sky is new, and it's warm and real and bright, and world has somehow, shifted. All at once, everything looks different, now that I see you.   

Carlos (Flynn):  All those days chasing down a daydream, all those years living in a blur, all that time, never truly seeing things, the way they were. Now she's here, shining in the starlight, now she's here, suddenly I know, if she's here, it's crystal clear, I'm where I'm meant to go.

Unison:  And at last I see the light, 

Carlos (Flynn): And it's like the fog has lifted.

Unison: And at last I see the light

Clementine: And it's like the sky is new.

Unison: And it's warm and real and bright. And the world has somehow, shifted. All at once, everything is different, now that I see you. Now that I see you.

Clementine's P.O.V:

"That was really fun Carlos, or should I say, Flynn." "Yeah. I really enjoyed that" He started leaning towards me, and I leant towards him. I saw over Carlos' shoulder and saw Yoshi turn red in embarrassment. Just as Carlos was about to kiss me, he looked over my shoulder at something. I turned around confused. "Is... Is everything alright?" I asked Carlos. "Yeah, everything is alright." He rowed the boat to the shore and told me to stay. "I will be back in a minute. I just need to sort something out. "OK," I responded. I knew that he would come back. 

Carlos' (Flynn's) P.O.V:

"Ahh. If it isn't my favourite set of twins and friends?" "Here is the crown, and I just wanted to say, I shouldn't have split it with you. Well, enjoy your crown, while I go..." "I don't think so. We want something worth a thousand crowns. We want the girl." The next and last thing I knew was that they tied me to a boat with the crown, and knocked me out. 

Clementine's P.O.V:

I saw Carlos coming back from the distance. "Oh, I knew you'd come back. I knew you wouldn't take the crown and leave me." Then I saw two figures coming towards me. "Oh, but he did." One of the two big men said to me. "No, he wouldn't, you're lying!" "See for yourself." I went and looked out onto the lake, and saw a little boat headed for the castle docks, and on it, I saw Carlos holding the crown. "No, how could he?" I asked myself while crying. "Well, who wouldn't trade a crown for the girl with the magic hair. How much do you think someone would pay to stay young forever?" "No, NO!!!" I started to run away. I then heard two loud and heavy thuds just as my braid became snagged on a log. "Clementine?" "Mother?" I rounded the corner, and standing there with a thick branch in her hand, was my mother. She embraced me and asked, "are you alright my flower?" "Come on, let's go." I let go of her hand, I watched the boat out on the lake. I looked over and saw my mother put down her green lantern and open her arms. I ran into her loving embrace. We went home in silence. "There, it never happened. Now, wash up for dinner, I'm making Parsnip, Leek and Potato Soup. I really did try Clementine, I tried to warn you what was out there. The world is a dark, cruel, and selfish place. If it finds even the smallest ray of sunlight, it destroys it." With that, she closed the curtain. I heard her go downstairs. I lay down on my bed, with Yoshi lying next to my head. I looked at the little flag that I had gotten at the dance, it was Purple with a sun on it. It was the symbol of the kingdom. It was beautiful. I looked at it closely and then started to notice something. I noticed that I had been painting the symbol of the sun subconsciously for my whole life (Well since I could hold a paintbrush and paint). I then remembered EVERYTHING! My mother wasn't my mother. My mother was the Queen of Corona, the woman I had seen in the kingdom with the long Blonde hair, even though in my memory, she had short brown hair. I was so shocked that I staggered backwards right into my dressing table. Things from the table smashed on the floor. "Clementine? What's going on up there? Is everything alright?" I saw 'Mother' come up the stairs.  "I am the lost princess." (Mumbling). "Please speak up Clementine, you know how I hate the mumbling." "I AM THE LOST PRINCESS, aren't I? Did I mumble mother? Or should I even call you that?" "Oh, Clementine, do you even hear yourself? Why would you ask such a ridiculous question?" It was you, it was all you!" "Everything I did, was to protect you!" I pushed her out of the way in anger.  I just couldn't stand her anymore. "CLEMENTINE!" "All my life, I've had to hide from people who would use me for my powers, when I should have been hiding, from you!" "Where will you go, he won't be there for you." "What did you do to him?" "That criminal is to be hanged for his crimes." "No..." "Now now, everything is as it should be..." She reached out her hand to pat me on the head like she always did, but I grabbed her hand and said, "NO! You were wrong about the world, and you were wrong about me, and I will NEVER let you use my hair again!" She wrenched her arm out of my tight grasp and stumbled into the mirror that was behind her, and it fell and smashed to pieces. I then walked away from her in anger. I then heard her say, "You want me to be the bad guy? Fine, now I'm the bad guy." She then came over to me and got a whole heap of chains with shackles at the end. My 'Mother' and I, started to struggle against her but realised in defeat that she was indeed stronger than me. "Clementine, stop fighting me." "NO!" No matter how much I struggled she still managed to chain me to a post near the wall. She then went a step further and put a gag over my mouth. "Ha, now you can't get away." With that, she put on her cloak and got the dagger out of it. "NOOOOO!" "Oh, don't worry dear. Nothing will happen to him. Except for maybe a small little stab wound. HAHAHA."  She went and stood up against the wall, in case Flynn came.  I heard Flynn's voice from down below. "Clementine, let down your hair!" My 'Mother' came towards me, got my hair, and let my hair down out of the window. She then quickly stood up against the wall again. I saw Flynn come through the window. "Clementine, I thought I would never see you again. Wait, why are you in chains?" (Through the Gag) "Flynn, Flynn." I saw my mother come behind him with her dagger and stab him. I started to cry. I felt the tears run down my face. "Now look what you've down Clementine. Oh, don't worry dear, our secret will die with him. As for you, we are going where no one will ever find you again." "Flynn." "Clementine, really, stop fighting me!" "NO! I won't stop, for every minute of the rest of my life, I will continue to fight. I will never stop trying to get away from you. But, if you let me heal him, I will go with you. I will never run, I'll never try to escape. You and I will be together, forever, just like you want I promise. Just, let, me, heal, him." She thought about it for quite a while. She then agreed. She chained Flynn to the wall and left him saying that she had chained him "in case you get ideas about following us." "F... Flynn. It's going to be alright I promise." "No... Clementine, No... I can't let you do this." "And I can't let you die." "But, if you do this, then you, will die." "Hey, it's going to be fine." I breathed in to start singing the song when Flynn all of a sudden cut off most of my hair. It was longer than the length of my true mother's hair in my vision. It was just past my shoulders now. "Flynn... but...." I looked over at Mother Gothel. "NOOOOO!!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!" Her hair turned white and she grew very old. She went over to the mirror and looked at herself and moaned and kept saying "No, no, no...." over and over again. She pulled the hood of her cape over her face and stumbled backwards, where Yoshi pulled my hair that had been cut and made Mother Gothel trip over it backwards. She tripped and fell out the window. I reached out in shock and numbness. I saw her disappear and then saw her cape hit the floor. I looked back at Flynn. "Flower gleam and glow, let your... power shine.... make the clock reverse.. bring back what once was mine... what once was mine." I started to cry again. A single tear fell onto Fylnn's cheek and it was absorbed. Then, out of nowhere, there was a glowing as the flower's powers that were still in my DNA set to work. His wound was healed and he woke up and embraced me. Together we went out of the trap door and walked back to the kingdom where we were greeted and embraced by my mother and my father (King and Queen of Corona - Rapunzel and Eugene.) Flynn and I got married and we all lived happily ever after. Everything was alright. I grew very close to my mother and father. Pascal and Yoshi loved being with each other and played with each other a lot. It was all great. I loved my life now. 

A/N: (Author's Note): I am going to add more chapters soon when I can as I am going into exam time now. Please don't get upset if I don't write more chapters soon.
