Sitting face down on a rock in the forest.
Cold and damp, smells like rain.
I beautiful lake, green and blue as can be.
Dear forest of thy, mossy and green,
Tall trees of spruce covered in pine,
Wet grass around, rocks of large,
Small bugs on the ground, animals lurk.
The wind blows around me, not daring to touch.
For a soul like me, I'm so lonely that I sit in the forest and pretend the wind talks to me.
The wind is nice, cold and free.
How I wish I could be a part of the earth.
Instead I am me.
Oh how I wish I wasn't to be.
