I stayed with you for so long throughout the bullshit because I was torn between not giving up on the person that I loved, and coming to terms with the fact that the person that I loved no longer existed inside of the body that I was staring at everyday; and I don't give a fuck what anyone says...that's a really difficult and painful thing to wrap your brain around. It takes a while to believe it.
