They say obsessed people are the most dangerous. Shen Wei would agree wholeheartedly. They were unstable people that stalked other people and usually meant them harm. He after all was not obsessed.

He was devoted.

Which was why, instead of refining the new recipe, he was showcasing at the restaurant tomorrow, he was watching Zhao Yunlan's video channel. It was the first thing he checked every morning along with the news and the last thing he watched every night before sleep.

Seeing that animated face and hearing his voice had become a lifeline. His music...well that had been his Savior for a year now.

He needed a different kind of saving now. In three days, said Savior was dining in his restaurant. From social media and his own videos, he knew roughly what Zhao Yunlan liked and being a Three Michelin Star chef, when Zhao had posted that he was looking forward to returning home to Dragon City, he had done the one thing, he swore he would never do.

He invited Zhao Yunlan into his life.

How was he going to cook, knowing his Savior was sitting out there, beyond the door? He had lost his mind.

It had started simply enough.

Shen had been a pastry chef, one half of a culinary duo with his twin brother Ye Zun. They worked for years, building the reputation of their award-winning Three Michelin Star restaurant Dixing, into a culinary powerhouse, where celebrities and government officials would dine.

For five years they had soared, finally reaching their goal and to celebrate that anniversary, a friend had given them tickets the night before the big gathering, to a classical music concert. He hadn't wanted to go, an irony that amused him no end later, but he went for his Didi.
