Blu waited outside of the hollow. His feathers twitching in anger. He spotted Jewel flapping in a flamboyant and happy way towards him.
"Woo! That was a day!" She did not see his eyes. "Oh, Blu... Where are the kids? We have to do that together!"
That's when she turned around and saw him. His face. "Blu?"
"Jewel, we need to talk." He put his fanny pack on and was packing everything as they spoke.
"Blu? What's wrong?" She finally looked concerned. "Why are you packing?"
"Do you love Roberto?"
"What-?"
"Do you love him?" Blu did not even give her a glance.
"Why are you-?"
"Answer me."
"As a brother, why?" She questioned.
"Sure. I'm leaving." Blu felt his heart get hollowed out.
"Blu?!" She panicked.
"Hey! Jewel!" Roberto came down from the sky like the perfect blue angel he was. "Oh... Hey Blu?"
"Roberto?! Why is Blu acting this way?!" Jewel cried.
Roberto just stood there. Gaping at the tension between the two. This was surely awkward.
"I don't know!"
Blu beat his wings to the point of aching. She doesn't love me!
