~Amy's POV~

As soon as our plane lands Niall is off, excited to see his family for the first time in months. Liam and I exit the plane at our own speed, reuniting with Niall at the baggage claim, where all of our bags and Niall's mum are waiting. Niall hugs her tightly, and Liam and I stand to the side awkwardly, watching as they quickly catch up on everything they missed in the past few months. Liam looks kind of out of it, so he's probably either worrying about Louis and Harry or remembering our parents, the ones I don't remember at all. Did they act like this, embracing Liam whenever he returned from school and asking about his day? I guess I'll never know.

A nudge to my shoulder brings me back to reality and I look up, finding myself face-to-face with Niall's mum. She smiles, saying something excitedly, and Niall starts to sign, probably expecting that she's talking too fast for me to understand.

'She says 'Hello, honey, I'm Niall's mum, but please call me Maura.' Now she's scolding Liam for not bringing you around earlier.' Niall signs, turning to watch Maura talk to Liam, who shrugs.

"I had a lot going... on, sorry." He says, and Maura frowns.

"Oh, right." She says more slowly. I think she sighs, then she turns back to Niall, who is now standing next to me. "Come on, you. Let's get out of here." She says, finally calming down enough for me to read her lips. Niall puts his hand on my shoulder and we walk through the airport. The complete absence of fans confuses me, honestly. Usually wherever we go there are fans everywhere, but no one here seems to be bothered by the two famous singers walking through the terminal. Strange.

Only a couple of hours later I find myself sitting at a table with Niall, Liam, Maura, and Niall's brother Greg, eating some sort of baked chicken and watching Greg and Maura ask Liam and Niall about everything that happened, from their album to Harry and Louis. I don't really care much about most of the conversation, but one thing that Maura mentions makes me sit straighter and pay more attention.

"Niall, you know that old house up on the hill right outside of town?" She asks, and I quickly turn to see Niall nodding.

"The one no one has lived in for years?" He asks, and Maura returns the nod.

"Well a man just moved in there about two weeks ago. Interesting fellow he is, brought all his stuff into the house and left the next day. He had a suitcase and someone saw him in the airport. Why would someone buy a house, move in, then immediately leave on vacation?" Maura asks, more to herself than anyone else.

"Has he come... back yet?" Liam asks, just as curious as me.

"Yes, I think he came back two or three days ago. No one has met him, he doesn't seem like a very social person, all anyone knows about him is his name." Maura says, starting to get confused by our interest.

"What's his name, then?" I ask, surprising Maura and Greg since this is the first time I've spoken my whole time here. Maura smiles, answering without hesitation.

"Trent. His name is Trent."

~Louis' POV~

You know, Liam told me to get a watch a couple months ago and I said a watch would be useless since I had my phone. Well now I could use a watch. My phone is still at the house, along with everything else. I mean, I'm wearing a t-shirt and pajama bottoms, not even real clothes. There aren't any clocks down here, so I have no real way of telling what time it is, or what day. It could have been three days or a week, I wouldn't be able to tell. I can't remember the symptoms of starvation, probably because I never knew them to begin with, but I'm pretty sure my constant tiredness is a symptom. Didn't Trent say his plan was to get Harry to trade for me, then Liam for both of us? Doesn't that mean that I have to be alive?
