~Louis' POV~

I groan, opening my eyes slowly and looking around the room. I'm lying in a bed in a hospital room, that much is certain, and there are tubes and crap all over me. The light is painful, probably since I'm not used to it. The only person in the room besides me is a doctor who is facing away from me. Not trusting my voice, I cough a couple times, getting her attention.

"Good, you're awake." The doctor says, turning to face me and smiling. I nod a little, still feeling pretty weak, and the doctor approaches my bed, picking up a clipboard from the end of it. "Well, Mr. Tomlinson, you seem to be in pretty good shape given the circumstances." She comments. That's a good thing, right? "It will probably take a while for you to regain your full strength, so you're going to stay here for the next few days. I'm Dr. Weber, I'll help you when it's needed." She looks at the door and nods to herself about something. "Your friends are outside. Would you like them to come in?" I nod as quickly as I can, desperate to see my friends after so long. How long have I been in here anyways?

"Louis?" I hear a familiar voice ask. I look at the door to see Niall walking in, a smile covering his face. "Louis!" He exclaims, running over to me and hugging me tightly. I don't even attempt to hug him back, knowing I won't even be able to lift my arms. Niall pulls away after a second and frowns, confused.

"Louis, are you alright?" Liam asks, entering the room next. I nod, fully aware of the tubes in my nose that are currently helping me breathe, and Liam turns to look at Niall. "What's wrong?" He asks, and Niall shrugs, looking at me. Liam follows his gaze and a look of realization crosses his face, making him smile. "Niall, Louis is probably... still really weak. I wouldn't be surprised if he could... barely move." Liam says, raising an eyebrow. I nod, confirming what he said, and Niall grins, nodding.

"Okay, sorry Louis." He apologizes for no apparent reason. The door opens again, and this time the first thing I see is a mop of brown hair. Harry's eyes light up when he sees me looking at him, and he walks over to my bed, leaning over and hugging me like Niall did. Unlike Niall, he doesn't seem surprised when I don't return the hug. I look at Liam, wishing I could ask how long I was out but having no way to do so. Liam seems to figure out that I want to know, maybe because he's been in my position before.

"You were only out for about... eight hours, Louis. Did the nurse tell you what... happened?" Liam asks, watching me shake my head.

"Your lungs failed, that's why you have the tubes in your nose. Some of those other tube things are nutrients or something, you'll be stuck here until you're healthy." Niall explains quickly, obviously distracted.

"Yeah. You're pretty... underweight, so you probably won't be able... to leave for a while." Liam agrees. Throughout the entire conversation, my focus is on Harry, who is avoiding my eyes.

"I... I know what he did to Harry." I say, interrupting whatever Liam was saying. Harry looks up, shame in his eyes, and I sigh. "They have to know." I say simply, watching as he nods so quickly I barely even catch it.

"So it was Trent?" Liam asks, sighing when I nod.

"Well, Trent and a few of his friends. The first night when I woke up I listened in on Trent discussing his plan with someone over the phone. He found me and told me even more, figuring that I'd be dead before I could tell any of you. Then he told me what happened to Harry. It was a brief description, but it was enough." I say, my eyes never leaving Harry's. He walks over to me, apprehensive, and I think I know why. "It wasn't your fault, Harry. I know what you're thinking at it isn't true." I say, confusing Niall and Liam even more.

"Louis, what exactly happened?" Niall asks, nervous to hear my answer.

"Well they beat him up, to the point where he fainted. When he woke up Trent threatened him, then the worst part happened." I stop before I mention what I know is what really effected Harry. "Harry, do you want me to keep it between us? I know it's important but it's your business." I say, realizing that I can't just go and tell his big secret without a thought. Harry shakes his head, smiling a little. In my mind I hear his voice, urging me to tell Liam and Niall what really happened.

"Should I get Zayn and Paul?" Liam asks, looking at Harry. Harry looks at me, obviously scared, but he nods anyways, and Liam leaves the room, returning only moments later with Zayn and Paul. Liam must have very quickly filled them in on what's happening because they both look at Harry, unsure of what to think.

"Louis?" Paul asks, turning his attention to me. With one last look at Harry I open my mouth, saying the one word that I know Harry hates more than anything else.

"Rape."

~Harry's POV~

I know I let Louis tell them, but nothing could prepare me for the looks on everyone's faces. They all look so pitiful, and I don't deserve that. I'm disgusting, why should they feel sorry for me?

"Oh Harry..." Zayn says softly, and I finally notice the tears rolling down my cheeks. Louis, after a bit of struggling, manages to get into a sitting position, and I quickly run into his arms, letting him hide me from everyone else. Just one word brings back all of the memories that I tried so hard to forget, and I shiver as I remember that horrible night.

"He's still out there." Paul says with venom in his voice. Trent is still at large, he abandoned Louis and ran, hoping we'd be too worried about Louis to think about finding him. He knocked out a police officer as a distraction and it worked, he's vanished and no one can find him.

"If they catch him alive, he'll be in... prison forever." Liam comments, rubbing circles in my back. I guess that's true. After how he hurt me, then kidnapped and starved Louis, there's no way anyone would take his side.

"Louis, did Trent tell you how they... touched him?" Zayn asks, unable to say the word.

"No, but I have some ideas and they aren't very pleasant. However it happened, there were, I believe, five of them, and that can lead to any number of painful combinations." Louis says, falling quiet as I sob quietly. One memory hits even harder than the rest and I start shaking violently, clasping my hands over my ears and trying to get Trent's voice out of my head.

"Panic attack!" I faintly hear someone yell, and the arms that hold me tighten, keeping me close to them.

"Harry, calm down, it's okay. You're safe, they can't hurt you now." Louis' soft voice whispers in my ear, repeating the same lines over and over again. You're safe. You're safe. You're safe.

After a couple minutes I finally stop shaking, and I cautiously open my eyes, not surprised to be getting more looks of sympathy. What does surprise me is the doctor who is now in the room, a sad look on his face as he watches me closely.

"You need to monitor Mr. Styles closely. With everything that has happened to him, there is a chance that he could make a dangerous decision." Is all the doctor says, his focus on both Paul and me at the same time. His unsaid threat hangs in the air, bearing down on me as a warning. The doctor only has to hear about me doing one wrong thing and everything changes. One thing that makes me look depressed or suicidal can get me shipped off to a mental hospital. This doctor only has to say one sentence to take me away from everything I know. I have to be careful.
