Their eyes met. Suddenly they were alone in the crowd. Those familiar blue eyes, how could he forget? It had been so long ago yet in that moment it felt like no time had passed. No doubt people were staring but he couldn't look away and neither could the pirate it seemed. Waves of old emotions moved between them that didn't need words, they knew how each other felt - they knew nothing had changed. Even so, life had changed them. When the pirate finally opened his mouth to speak Neal finally broke eye contact and moved away, looking at his friends with a soft smile. "I'll see you guys later." He said, turning on his heel and walking away. He could feel his eyes on him but he refused to look back. He hadn't for so long and he wasn't about to now.
