Brutus Lycian's POV:

Emotions seeming to take over me, my wolf wanting to claim her fully and make her all ours. Rage flowed through my veins. Feeling sharp canines growing in my mouth, I let out my anger on the first thing that I could see, again.

The still and stiff wood of the doorway collided with my hand, not so soft pain spreading throughout my already bruised hand.

"Mine!" My voice turned into a growl, my already possessive roots now leaded by my wolf's instincts.

Making my way over to my bed and my small mate curled up in the middle of it, I watched as she wanted to wrap herself in the warm sheets even more.

"Mine. You are meant to be mine. Moon Goddess destined for us to be together. And you can't do a fucking thing about it." I let my words flow out of me with no second thought.
S

he wants to run away from us my wolf raged, wanting to free himself from my strong willpower and control that I had over him. If I shifted my mind to anything else, he would explode out of my skim and scare our small mate even more.

She did nothing, nothing but sitting in the same position. Her eyebrows were knitted, trying to hide the tears that were about to fall from her glossy eyes.

Wanting to let my animal out, I turned my back and stomped out the door, my steps echoing through the hallway aggressively.
On my way out, I met eyes with very confused looking Christian.

"Be with her" I dismissed before he could say anything which would most probably make me even more angry

Running out like a madman, I finally let him take over. The frightening sound of bone cracking filled my ears, making me realize that I went back to my animal's form.

Opening my eyes, I noticed that all my senses strengthened while my animalistic instincts took over me wholly.
Spreading out my paws and lunging my body forward, I started running extremely fast. Diving into the thick and strong smelling pine woods, I have started my rage adventure. Trees and weeds passed me in a blur, only one thing occupying my mind.

It was a place where I commonly went to, where I was the strangely happy and peaceful. In less than long seeming fifteen minutes, I have reached a clear meadow. The wind blew, making the long grass tilt to my right side. Bringing various scents to my nose, I could not help but to notice that the forest has been strangely calm at that moment.

Approaching the house that I proudly was a resident in, guilt washed over me. Just by the energy that was lingering in the cold air, I could tell that Ember was not doing exactly well.
Grabbing a pair of red basketball shorts that were prepared for me on the couch, I shifted back to human form and slipped the shorts on.

Making my way up the stairs quiet as a mouse, I approached our room. Feeling my breathing getting shallow, I prepared myself to a sight that I was about to face in a short few seconds. I knew that Christian was in there with her, he was comforting her instead of me.

Opening the heavy double doors, I shifted my eyes over to the bed where both of them laid.

My wolf was wilding, but I forced myself to remain calm at the sight of her crying on his shoulder.
Seeing me, Christian apologized to Ember and rose himself from the bed quickly.

Not wanting to even look my way, he walked out and harshly closed the doors. That was my sign that I fucked up. And badly.

"Mi bella" I spoke, moving my feet closer to the be that she was tightly curled up on. She was sensitive, with no doubt. And it was fully my fault for for not caring about it when I git angry.

Trying to touch her, I watched as she flinched and scooted away toward the headboard.

"I am so sorry, mi bella. I did not mean to lash out on you like that" I said softly, knowing that those words came straight from my heart.
I just now fully realised how sensitive of a human she was, most likely horribly abused and traumatised.

She suddenly rose, her bloodshot and glossy eyes meeting with my widened ones. Her once warm and innocent eyes were now filled with rage and so much coldness.

"You claimed me as if I was a filthy animal! What am I?" her voice rose, it being raspy and at a point of breaking.

"You don't know what kinds of things you made me remember" she choked out a whisper, heavy tears running down her face.

At this point I was devastated, aching to touch and comfort her, fix the mess that I created.

"Tell me about it" I begged

Shaking her head, she rolled over and covered herself in sheets

"Not today"

Breathing out, I took small steps back until I was at the doorstep

"Good night, mi bella" with that, I closed the doors and made my way over to the closest guest room.

Praying to the Moon, I closed my eyes    and hoped that everything would be better the next day
