Sodapop Curtis - "Not your baby not your responsibility"

A/N: So this imagine takes place during the time Soda finds out Sandy was pregnant, it will be different from the book/movie and uhh yea enjoy lol

As I'm walking to the Curtis' house I can't help but think what my life would be like without anyone of the boys.... God I sure never wanted to find that out.

I reach the front door and knock before walking in.

"Hey guys" I call, as I open the door.

I had barely enter the house before I noticed Sodapop on the couch with his head buried in his hands, with Ponyboy beside him saying comforting words of encouragement.

Darry, who was also beside Soda, noticed my entrance and stood up and walked over to me.

"Hey what's wrong?" I ask looking at Soda

"Sandy's pregnant"

"With his...." I trail off, my eyes going wide.

"Well that's what she says, but honestly I don't believe her."

I cautiously walk over to Soda and sit beside him.

I put my hand on his back, rubbing small comforting circles on it.

"Hey Soda" I whisper "It'll be alright"
He looks at me

"I know. I know." He says "It's just..."

"It's just what?" I ask softly

"It isn't my baby." He says "We've never.... Well Y'know."

"You mean to say she was two-timing you?" I ask, my brows furrowing in a mix of confusion and anger.

"It seems so" He says

"Well... What are you gonna do about it?" I ask "And I mean is she even keeping the baby?"

"Yea... And I guess I'll stay with her."
He says leaning back onto the couch

"Soda.... She cheated on you. Why would you stay with someone who cheated on you?" Ponyboy asks

"Well I mean, she only cheated on my once.... And the baby gots to have father" He says

"It ain't even your baby." Darry says "And I mean you're still a baby yourself."

"Yea" I say, agreeing with Darry

"Yea, but it's not the baby's fault-"

"No you're right, it's not. It's Sandy's."
I say standing up walking over to Darry.

"Hey don't talk about her like that" He says standing up, furiously.

"Like what?" I ask crossing my arms taking a step towards him "Like she's a cheater? Well guess what? SHE IS" I yell that last part.

"It was one time" He yells back taking a step at me

"Ever heard of the saying 'once a cheater always a cheater'?" I ask "That saying goes for girls too, not just guys." I take another step to him.

"She needs someone right now" He yells, he steps towards me again

"You shouldn't be that someone. Not after she cheated on you" I yell back, taking one more step, causing us to be face to face.... Well chest to face, considering the height difference.

I look up at him

"Not your baby not your responsibility" I say before I turn on my heal and storm out the door. "I hope you come to your senses by tomorrow"

I storm home and go to my room, then flop on my bed.

"Why can't he be reasonable for once in his life?" I mumble to myself
