Scott, Mitch, Kirstie, Avi and Kevin were on the first day of their tour in Singapore. It was early in the morning, and the sun had only just come out. Everyone was asleep, everyone apart from Mitch. He climbed down the ladders of his bunk bed, trying not to wake anyone, and tip-toed into the kitchen to make some coffee. Mitch usally wakes up quite early, as he enjoys sipping his coffee and watching the sun rise in peace. That peace didn't last for long though, about ten mintues after Mitch got his coffee, Scott rushed into the kitchen, with tears in his eyes. "Scott? Scott, what is it, what's wrong?" Mitch asked him. He put down his coffee, and ran to Scott, giving him a hug. He felt his heart beating.

"It's Alex." Scott whispered, barley being able to get the words out.

"Why, what the hell has he done to make you so upset?" Mitch asked, a certain tone to his voice made Scott a little worried.

"He broke up with me. It was over text. I just, I can't believe it! He promised me, he wouldn't cheat on me whilst I was gone, but I guess I was wrong. Unless there isn't anyone else, and he just feels we've lost our spark. Hah! Who am I kidding? Of course there's someone else. With that face, nobody would turn him down." Scott replied, the tears rolling down his cheeks. Mitch didn't know what to say, he was angry at Alex. He hated seeing his best friend like this. Nobody deserves to be cheated on. Scott and Mitch both stood in silence, Scott staring at the floor, avoiding eye contact with Mitch. He hated crying infront of people.

"Hey." Mitch said, walking up to Scott, holding his hands. Scott's palms wear walm and slightly sweaty. He looked up at mitch.

"Forget about Alex, okay he's a total jerk. I can't stand seeing you so upset. Scott, you're an amazing guy. Okay? You're sweet, funny, talented, the list is endless. Alex was so stupid for letting you go, but it's over now. You gotta forget about him. There's plently more fish in the sea." Mitch reassured Scott. By this point, Mitch and Scott were staring into each others eyes, not be able to look away. Mitch put his hand on Scott's face, slowly leaning in. Scott froze, confused. He didn't lean in, but he didn't push Mitch away. Was Mitch into Scott? Surely not, I mean they're best friends. They're lips were just centimetres apart. Suddenly, the kitchen door swung open, and there stood Kirstie, her black hair up in a messy bun. "Mornin'!" she said, with a cheery smile on her face. Kirstie's always happy. She picked up Mitch's cup, and drank the remains of his coffee. "Ew, it's cold." Kirstie said, laughing. As soon as the door opened, Mitch and Scott stopped what they were doing, hoping, wishing Kirstie didn't see, but did she?

It's okay Mitch. (A Pentatonix "PTX" Fanfic)Where stories live. Discover now
