I'm usually very effervescent in this section of my books but not for this one. It would be inappropriate for the subject at hand. I would like to start off by saying that everyone last one of these deaths actually happened. Pete the pelican died in 2003, the Bryde's whale was found on Cairne beach, the sei whale was found in Chesapeake Bay and millions of turtles and birds died every year, all because of plastic. I was horrified when doing researched for this story so I hope that it can make a difference with you guys. If this can't make you see what single-use plastic is doing to our oceans and its wildlife then you must be pretty dumb. I wrote this story because I wanted to win the competition but I don't really care about that anymore. If my contribution can help our planet, then thats the best prize I could win.
