Aunt May planted a kiss on Peter's cheek, wrapping him in a hug. "Your so grown up now, Peter. I don't think I can keep up with you kids these days." Peter laughed, letting her go and handing Aunt May her purse. "You're always ten steps ahead of me, Aunt May. In truth, I'm always keeping up with you."
Aunt May beamed, pinching Peter's cheek with her free hand before stepping out the door to join Mj and Harry. "I raised you well." Peter closed the door behind her, a smile still ghosting on his face.
Wade was in the kitchen, washing the last of the dishes they used. Peter joined him, opening the fridge and pulling out a container of Sunny-D and setting it on the counter.
Wade stole a glance over at Peter, returning to his task when Peter turned towards him, twisting the cap off and taking a sip. "You know those things would rot your teeth out, right?"
Peter laughed, tipping his head back and rolling his eyes. "You just don't want me to drink them because you like them more."
He twisted the cap on, leaving it on the counter and walking behind Wade, wrapping his arms around Wade's waist and standing on his toes to place his head on his shoulder. "Nice try though."
Wade rolled his eyes, setting a clean plate on the drainer before starting on a fork. "I bought them, so techniqually their mine."
Peter huffed, his breath tickling Wade's ear. "There are no techniqalities in this apartment, Wade Wilson."
Wade turned his head, catching Peter's lips with his own. "There are if there is."
Peter furrowed his eyebrows, his words slurring a bit. "That doesn't make any sense."
Wade flicked Peter's nose, scattering suds on his face. "That sucks for you, then."
Peter snorted, scrubbing the suds off with the long sleeves of his shirt, reaching under one of Wade's arms to get to his face. "Shut up."
He unraveled himself from Wade, picking up the Sunny-D and traveling into the Living Room. "Hey, I think Lord of the Rings is marathoning."
Wade groaned, turning off the faucet and drying his hands before joining Peter. "We've seen those movies like twenty times already."
Peter shrugged, propping his feet up on Wade's lap. "So? You watched the Notebook twice as many."
Wade glared at him. "You can't hate a good love story, Pete."
Peter pulled his legs under him, crawling over to Wade and replacing the spot where his feet once were, looking up at Wade from his lap. "What do you call this?"
Wade smiled, leaning inwards and pecking Peter's lips once more. "A better one."
They ended up watching Pirates of the Caribbean instead.
