Sonic X - Happy Ending

(Changed ending to sonic X, enjoy)
When the planet disappears in front of everyone, they were all happy except for tails who was crying over the loss of his lover/best friend cosmo, he was kneeling in the floor crying when cosmo appears in front of him
"don't cry tails" cosmo says and tails looks up at her with poofy eyes "i'll be right here" she says putting her hand on his heart "close by to keep you safe, now go and live your life to the fullest, ok" she says and tails just looks at her "you promise?" she says and tails thinks about before nodding "good boy..." she says and she kisses him on the forehead "i'm glad i got to spend my last moments with you and cream" she says "you take care of her, she's cares about you as much as i do and she a caring person...goodbye...tails" she says then she dissappears into little lights
tails watches her go then he starts to cry again, meanwhile sonic in his super form looks on where the planet used to be and his ears droop
"shadow..." sonic says quietly 'i will never now see who's the fastest' he thought then he sees tails come out of the ship
he floats down losing his super form and then he walks up to tails
"sonic...i'm glad you're alright" tails says still looking upset "but...cosmo's-" he was then cut off when sonic takes his hand and gives him a seed
"this was the last thing i could find before the planet disappeared" sonic says dropping the seed into tails' hand "i'm sorry bro..."
tails then tears up again and he rested his head on sonic's chest with tears falling from his eyes, sonic closes his eyes and he felt sorry for his brother and buddy's loss but then he hears a noise causing his ear to twitch and he looks up, he then sees a light appear a few feet in front of him then a unconscious black and crimson hedgehog appears
"shadow!" sonic says and he goes over to him dragging an upset tails with him "are you alright?...shadow!" he says shaking him but he didn't wake but sonic could feel a pulse
"this is my final present to you, sonic the hedgehog" the voice of cosmo says in his head "please...take care of him" she says before going quiet
sonic smiles a little and he then picks up shadow, he then takes him inside and when everyone was inside the ship it takes off back to their home planet mobius, tails was in his room looking at the seed while it was eggman who was driving from his ship, cream and cheese look at tails from his door worried, team chaotix were in the lunch room with rouge and knuckles, sonic puts shadow in the medical room while chris was making shadow some more inhibitor rings, sonic then came out and he was met by amy who looked him sad
"are...you ok sonic?" amy asked
"i will be" sonic says and he brings amy into a hug "...thanks for saving me"
"i do anything for you sonikku" amy says in his chest which made him smile
sonic then pulls her out of the hug then kisses her on the lips for a second
"now can you go and get me something to eat please? i going to check up in tails" sonic says and amy nods
"ok" amy says and she kisses sonic once on the cheek before entering the kitchen
sonic smiles softly then he runs over to tails room which only took a second and when he gets there he was met with a sad cream who just notice sonic
"hello mr.sonic" cream says sounding sad "i'm worried about tails"
"he'll be find, i go talk to him" sonic says "while i do, can you and cheese go and check on shadow, he's in the medical room"
"ok mr.sonic" cream says and he hops off with cheese
sonic watches then go then he enters tails room
"hey tails, you still upset?" sonic says as he sits by his buddy
"yeah...i just...i don't know" tails says sadly
"it's ok buddy, i'm sure cosmo will be watching you and cheering you on" sonic says putting his arm around tails "i sure she gave you that seed as a thank you present for all the things you've done for her"
"you really think so?" tails says looking at sonic
"i know so" sonic says and tails hugs sonic
"thank you sonic..." tails says and sonic smiles
"your welcome buddy" sonic says and he rubs tails on the head with his knuckle
tails laughs and sonic smiles wider
"there's the tails i know and love" sonic says jokenly "now why don't you stop moping, i don't think cosmo would like to see you like this"
"your right" tails says and he gets up "thanks again sonic"
he then was about to leave the room when something pops in his head
"hey umm...how come shadow came back? i thought he disappeared with the planet" tails asked
"well...let's just say...it was a final goodbye present for me from your crush" sonic says as he gets up and then he zooms off leaving tails with a smile on his face and a blush
"thank you cosmo...for everything" tails says and he goes off to the pilot room
a while later cream was playing with cheese in the medical room where shadow was asleep, chris had finished the inhibitor rings for shadow and he left them for him on the side table, shadow then started to wake up as he heard laughter from cream and he sits up gaining cream's attention
"oh! mr.shadow!" cream says going over to him "are you okay?" she asked
"i'm...ugh...i'm fine...where am i?" shadow says looking around
"your in the medical room of the blue typhoon" cream says "mr.sonic found you unconsious in the front of the ship while he was comforting tails" she says
shadow nods then he stays quiets to gather his thought
"do you want me and cheese to get you anything?" cream asked
"umm...a glass of water please cream" shadow says and she nods
"ok mr.shadow, i be back on a moment" cream says and she left
cheese was about to follow her but then he remembered the inhibitor rings on the side table and he picks them up, he then shows then to shadow
"cho cho" cheese says causing shadow to look at him
"huh?" shadow says then he sees the rings in his hands and he takes them from him, he then sees a note wrapped around one of the rings and he reads it
'dear shadow, i have made you some more inhibitor rings since you've lost the last one with the planet disappearing, the only different with these rings is that they're new and they do the exactly the same as your last one, please take good care of them and don't lose them, chris' the note read
shadow smirks then he puts the rings on, he then looks at cheese and pets him causing a love heart to appear
"you better find cream, she'll be worried about you" shadow says to cheese
"cho" cheese says happily and he flies off to find cream
shadow watches leave the room and then he sighs, sonic was running passed when he sees the other hedgehog awake so he goes in to see him
"hey shadow, see you're awake" sonic says sitting on the bed next to shadow's
"yeah...how did i get here?" shadow asked "i was suppose to die with the planet
"well...long story short, cosmo brought you back" sonic says "she forgave you for trying to kill her and she decided to bring you back...well that's what i think anyway" he says then smiles
shadow then looks down and he thought about what sonic was saying
"i'm glad you're back you know" sonic says "i was a little sad that you were gone cause...i thought we'll never race again"
"heh...i'm glad you only see me as a racing object" shadow says annoyed and sonic frowned
"no not that" sonic says "i don't see you as that at all" he says "i see you...as a allie, a friend, a partner in eggman beating and...if you don't mind...a brother?" he says with a soft smile
shadow look at sonic for a moment then he sighs
"sure..." shadow mumbles and sonic smiles
"yay! i got a older brother now" sonic says hugging shadow
"i said i agree to the brother part not the hugging" shadow says and sonic lets go with a apologetic face
"sorry...i got carried away" sonic says then he smiles again
"only keep this between you and me got it?" shadow says
"sure thing bro" sonic says happily and shadow sighs
'why did i agree to this?' shadow thought as he faceplamed then he looks back at sonic who was smiling happily
"so...are you excited to race me when we get back?" sonic says "i know i am"
"i want to explore first before i have a race with you, i don't know the planet since i lived on the ark and on earth temporarily" shadow says
"oh yeah! i forgot this is your first time seeing mobius" sonic says smiling "there is nothing really to it, it's just a simple planet and i can show you around if you like" he says
"are you trying to spend time with me?" shadow says realising what sonic was up to
"umm...maybe" sonic says then he smiles again
"...fine whatever" shadow says "you can show me around"
sonic gets happy again then cream came in with the water shadow asked for
"here you are mr.shadow, sorry i'm late, amy wanted to know where mr.sonic was" cream says handing shadow the water then pointing to sonic
"thanks cream" shadow says and he takes a gulp before putting the water on the side table
"why is amy looking for me, cream?" sonic says to the rabbit
"i think she wanted to ask you something" cream says "well...i leave you two and i'll go find tails, see you" she says then she goes off
"hmm...i wonder what she wants to ask me?" sonic says to himself
"probably want you to go on another date with her since you maybe skipped the last one" shadow says and sonic looks at him suprised
"how...how do you know?!" sonic says
"rouge told me a while ago" shadow says "when we were in the ship waiting for something to happen, she would tell me stories on what happened before i arrived and after i died from super form when the ark almost killed earth" he explained
"oh! i see..." sonic says "well...umm...i..." he says teying to think on what to say
"do you like her?" shadow asks making sonic looked at shadow shocked then he looks away as he realised he was blushing
"well umm...maybe...i think" sonic says with a smirk
shadow looks at sonic and he can see sonic looking down trying to hide a red blush that appeared above his face, shadow can tell he was shy and he wanted to spend love time with amy but shyness and eggman got in the way
"well...since i'm here now, you can ask amy out and i can deal with interference" shadow says and sonic looks at him with wide eyes
"really?!" sonic says
"yes" shadow says "now you go find her, i go and check on everyone. shadow says and sonic says
"ok brother" sonic says getting up and giving shadow a soft punch on the arm "see ya" he says and he goes off leaving shadow alone
shadow thought about what happened then a smirk appeared on his face, he then gets off the bed and he leaves to look around, sonic zoomed in the ship till he found amy by the big window in the hall room
"hey amy, cream says you were lookin' for me" sonic says and then he got a hug "so uhh...what's up?"
"well...i wanted to know...if you don't forget it...if you wanna go on a date with me?" amy asked
"umm...yes BUT!...but" sonic says and amy gasps but sonic stops her by putting his hands up "can i...choose where we go?"
"oh! sure!" amy says
"really?" sonic says suprised at her answer
"yeah...all the usual date places we go to are...getting boring so...it'll be fun on where you want to go" amy answered
sonic smiles and he kisses amy on the forehead
"does tommrow sound ok to you?" sonic says "i want to spend time with shadow when we get back"
"sure thing sonikku" amy says and she steals a kiss from sonic before skipping off leaving sonic frozen
he then gains a blush on his face and he chuckles before zooming off to the pilot room to meet tails.
It was a few hours but everyone finally made it back to mobius and everyone stepped off the blue typhoon with smiles on their faces seeing their home planet again, all except tails who was looking at the seed in his hand with a soft sadness on his lips
"don't be sad buddy" sonic says seeing his bro in a sad mood "why don't you plant that seed in a plant pot, i'm sure amy might have one" he says
"umm...ok" tails says and he goes off to amy's house
sonic smiles at he watches tails fly off then he goes over to shadow who was standing near the typhoon door with his arms crossed
"so...what do you think?" sonic asks "you like my home planet?"
"it's...peaceful" shadow says quietly and sonic smiles
"i'm glad you like it" sonic says "now...let me do the honours and show you around" he says and he drags shadow with him
sonic showed shadow around the places like angel island, mystic ruins, tails, house, the chaotix's house, amy's house, cream's house, station square and some other places, the last place they ended up was sonic's house which was a little cottage that was near the beach
"so lastly this is my house" sonic says presenting his house like a he was on a tv shopping channel "me and tails built it together and if you like, we can build you a house too"
"but...where will it go?" shadow asks
"it's your choice buddy" sonic says "this place is big enough to stick a house anywhere you like...as long as everyone else can reach it and you'll be happy in it" he says
"...whatever" shadow says in his tone
sonic smiles and then his tummy growls loud enough for shadow to hear it
"oh! i guess i haven't eaten yet" sonic says putting his hands on his raging tummy "as we are here, i can grab a chillidog" he says and he goes inside his house
shadow follows him and he ended up leaning on the door frame while sonic was in the kitching grabbing a chillidog, he then sits down in the living room and starts to eat
"you can look around if you want, might give you some ideas on what you want for your house design" sonic says before tucking into his chillidog and shadow shrugs
shadow then looks around the house and after a while he then joins sonic on the single sofa beside the multi-sofa sonic was lying on
"don't you eat anything else other then them?" shadow asks in a annoyed yet curious tone
"umm...yeah but chillidogs are my go to food" sonic says "i do love amy's cooking, she makes the best cakes i've ever eaten" he rambles
"heh...i'm suprised with all this food you eat, you're not remotely fat" shadow says and sonic looks at him
"well i do run a lot" sonic says finishing his chillidog "but when i was a kid, i was quite puggy" he adds thinking about it
shadow thought about it then he couldn't help but laugh seeing a very fat baby sonic with chillidogs in his hand and chilli sauce around his mouth, sonic looks at shadow as he laughs and sonic couldn't help but laugh too
"i...think that's the first time i've heard you laugh" sonic says calming down
shadow then calm down too then he went into thinking mode
"hey sonic?" shadow says
"what's up bro?" sonic says looking at shadow
"when i was looking around, i've notice you had a spare room" shadow says
"oh yeah...i have it for when tails stays over but you can borrow it while you're looking for a place to live" sonic says
"oh!" shadow says suprised "...thanks" he whispers
"your welcome shads" sonic says
"shads?" shadow says confused on the nickname
"yeah, shads!" sonic says happily "it's my new nickname for you"
"...whatever" shadow says sounding annoyed
sonic smiles then he realises what other thing he wanted to do with shadow
"hey shad? you wanna do that race now?" sonic says getting excited
"sure blue hedgehog" shadow says getting cocky
sonic and shadow then exit the house and they start their race all around mobius with the start and finish line being at sonic's house, meanwhile chris was walking around when he bumps into eggman
"chris, we meet again" eggman says in his usual tone
"what is it you want eggman, i got your letter you sent me" chris says holding up the letter he got from bokkun
"well you see chris, i have made you an invention that will take you back" eggman says
"what! you mean back home?" chris says
"yes and it's right there" eggman says and he points to a little gray pod "now get in"
chris does what he's told and gets in the pod without saying goodbye to anyone, the pod then blasts off into the sky and everyone sees it go off
"goodbye chris" everyone says even sonic and shadow who were still running their race
"goodbye...sonic...shadow...and everyone else" chris says upset before disappearing via teleport
"so...what do we do now boss?" deccoe asks
"well...for me, i'm going on break for a few days" eggman says "i need to think on how to get rid of sonic since i couldn't before from the space adventure" he adds
"ok boss" bokkun says and he goes off with his robots following him
they then head back to eggman's base and eggman was secretly happy that all that with the metarex was over, sonic and shadow carried on with their race for a while and when it was evening they finally made it back to sonic's place and they were tired out, they then went in the house and they sat on the sofa for a while not saying a word till shadow broke the silence
"so...what are you up to tomorrow, faker?" shadow asks
"faker? really?" sonic says confused on the nickname
shadow shrugs and sonic sighs
"well...i got a date with amy tomorrow and...that's it" sonic says "what are you up to tomorrow?"
"i don't know" shadow says honestly
"well...you could look around for a place so we can build your house" sonic says "or you can spend time with the others to get to know them better" he says
"...i think about it" shadow says and sonic smiles
"good for you" sonic says then he yawns "well...i'm off to bed, goodnight" sonic says and he walks to his room
shadow was left alone with his thought and after a while he decides to go to the guest bedroom, he walks passed sonic's and he sees sonic fast asleep and he smirks before going into his room, he then takes the gets into bed after taking his shoes and rings off and he sees the bed is really comfy, he then falls asleep having a dream of everyone being happy with him which made him smile.
