Chapter 26

Cereza's POV

I don't remember what happened next. I remember being held in a choke hold, and begging Eric not to kill my friends.

I remember the burning; itching desire to keep fighting, then my power skyrocketing, and a flash of light brighter than the sun. After that, I blacked out.

I felt someone shaking me. "Cereza, please wake up." I heard someone say to me. I felt very exhausted.

"Baby, please wake up. We need you, I need you." I recognized as Jason's voice. Out of all the voices, I always know when it's his.

"What if she doesn't wake up?" I heard another voice say. Luna, that had to be Luna. Wasn't she supposed to be out cold? "She's still breathing, so she'll wake up. We just have to get her to." Another voice said.

I can't get a fix on who it belonged to.

Ugh. What happened?

OH. MY. GOD.

I jolted awake with a gasp. I felt arms around me as everyone came into view. "Thank you god!!!" I heard Jason exclaim as he squeezed me.

I rubbed my head, feeling like I've been punched in it repeatedly. Despite feeling weak, I managed to hug Jason back.

"What happened?" I asked as I realized I was back in my regular clothes. "What happened? I'll tell you what happened! You have got to be the most powerful fairy in the Magic Universe!" Sean said.

"I've never seen such a display of powerful magic before. Did you know you could do that?" He asked.

"Uh thanks? What exactly did I do?" I asked. "Cereza, you made a magical outburst." Belle said.

"And that is...?" I asked dragging out. "Cereza, only the most powerful fairies can do that! You got rid of every monster and put Eric in a barley conscious state." Rae said.

"Where is he?" I asked. "Over there." She said pointing to the right. Eric didn't look barley conscious, he looked dead.

"Are we sure he's alive?" I ask.

"Yeah, he's breathing." Rae said.

"How do you feel?" Melanie asked rubbing my shoulder. "I feel really exhausted." I said.

"After doing what you did, I'd be exhausted too. I'm surprised you can sit up." She said.

"I'm surprised I can move. Though it feels stiff." I said.

"Are you in any pain?" Belle asked. "Um, yeah? It's like the kind of pain you get when you work out too much. I'm sore." I said.

"I think once you get some rest, you'll feel better." Belle said.

Jason stood up looking over at Eric. "So, what do we do with him?" He asked.

"Leave him here." Ryder said.

I looked at Ryder like he was crazy. "So he can come after me again? No, thank you!" I exclaimed.

"Or we could call the cops." Ryder suggested. "Ryder think about it. What would calling the cops do? He could easy break out of jail." I said.
