Donald was getting home from work and he couldn't wait to have his hands all over his baby girl. It had been a long day.

He found her standing in the kitchen and immediately wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek. "Hey, gorgeous."

She instantly turned around in his arms and sighed, laying her head on his chest.

He knew something was wrong. "Are you okay, sweetheart?" He asks, kissing her head.

"It's been a long day. Barron has been terrible today and honestly, I don't feel good." She admitted.

"It's the terrible 2s, baby. He'll be out of that stage soon. Are you getting sick?"

"No, I'm not. I'll be fine." She leaned up to him and gently pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"Maybe I can make your day better after Barron goes to bed." He winked at her cheekily.

"I'm sorry, baby. I can't this week." She said as she laid her head back on his chest.

He instantly knew what that meant. "I'm sorry, baby. Why don't you go take a hot bath and Barron and I are going to run some errands."

"I need a break. And my stomach is cramping something awful. I think I'm going to take you up on that." She hated sending her boys away, but she didn't feel good at all and just wanted to be alone for a few minutes.

He kissed her gently. "We'll be back soon."

He walked into the living room and was greeted by the cheering of his happy 2 year old that was overjoyed to see his daddy. "Dada!"

Donald couldn't help but smile. There was nothing like being greeted by this little boy. "Hey, buddy!"

Barron stood up and waddled over to his dad. Then tugged on his pant legs wanting to he picked up.

Donald had to pick him up. As soon as Barron was in his arms, he gave the cheekiest smile.

Donald kissed his cheek and Barron wrapped his arms around Donald's neck.

Since Melania had been feeling so poorly, she hadn't dressed him yet. So he was still wearing his Toy Story footie-pajamas that Donald put on him the night before.

"Let's go get you dressed. Then you can go to the store with daddy."

He carried him up the stairs and into his room. He got him dressed and changed his diaper. "Let's go, handsome kid."

Before he left, he stopped in the bathroom where Melania was resting in the tub of hot water.

"Tell mama bye." Donald told their son.

"Bye bye, Mama!"

Donald held Barron over the edge of the tub and he gave her the sweetest kiss on the cheek. Then a kiss from daddy and they were off.

They went to the store and got flowers, milk chocolates, and Barron insisted on getting his Mama a teddy bear. So that's what Donald got, knowing it would melt Melania's heart.

On their way home, Donald stopped at Melania's favorite sandwich shop, McAllister's, and got them all something to eat.

Then home to Mommy.

They went up the stairs and found Melania relaxing on their bed with a heating pad on her stomach.

Donald knocked on the door. "Can daddy and bubby come in?"

"Of course you can." She called from the bed.

Barron couldn't wait to see his mama. Donald pushed the door up and Barron ran in to her side of the bed, carrying the bear he picked out for her. "Mama! Mama!"

"Oh, little boy. Did you miss your mommy?" She rolled over and picked him up, and he instantly cuddled up in her side.

"Mama!" He smiles at her.

"Did daddy buy you a new teddy bear? You have such a sweet daddy."

"Actually, Barron bought Mommy a teddy bear." He set the flowers down on her nightstand along with the chocolates. "He would not let me leave the store without buying it."

"Awwwww, bubby! Is this for mommy?" She asks him sweetly.

He shakes his head yes, while smiling and hands it to her. "For you, Mommy!" He kisses her cheek and then cuddled back up on her.

"You two boys are so sweet. Thank you for taking care of me. These flowers are stunning. And this mommy needed chocolates." She beamed up at her handsome husband.

He leaned down and kissed her gently several times.

"Ewwwwwie!" The two year old said from beside them.

"Oh, hush it!" Donald laughed and kissed her again.

"I also got dinner downstairs so you wouldn't have to fix anything."

"Thank God! What did you get?" She asks.

"Daddy and mommy got a turkey club, chicken and noodles, and lemonade. Bubby got mashed potatoes and soup. Yes, baby, from McAllister's." He winked.

"Oh my gosh! That's all my favorites! I love you so much." She kisses him again. "Let's go eat."

They ate dinner, Donald feeding Barron while he ate himself. That way Melania didn't have to.

Donald sent Melania back up to bed while he cleaned up the mess.

After the mess was cleaned up, he walked into the living room where Barron was watching cartoons on the floor, sucking his thumb.

Donald could tell he was tired. "Barron, let's go take a bath, bubby."

He gave the toddler a bath, lotioned him up, then put him to bed.

He kissed his cheek, gave him his favorite blanket, then shut off the light. "I love you."

"I love you, dada!" The sleepy toddler called from his bed.

Donald stood in the dark doorway and watched his little boy. It wasn't 10 minutes and he was out of it.

He cleaned up the rest of the house for Melania, knowing this time of the month was so hard on her body and not having energy.

He finally crawled into bed around 11 p.m, and not surprised at all, she was out of it.

But she did feel his weight on the bed. She immediately rolled over and cuddled up to him.

"I love you." He whispered, kissing her head. He couldn't help but to hold onto her and stare at her.

He loved her beyond words. He never understood what he did to deserve her.

He wrapped his arms around her, resting one on her belly. That's how she liked it when she was cramping.

And he fell asleep, feeling so in love and lucky to have her in his life.
