So chemotherapy wasn't really invented until the 1940s during WW2 (accidentally), so let's just say, this time the wizarding world was far more advanced than the muggle world so they have founded chemotherapy. And I'm not that in depth with cancer and tumor so forgive me if I make any mistakes.
