You're Mine Now (Venom X Eddie)

Part 5: Lasher

A green symbiote slowly wrapped itself around Kasady. Its look was similar to that of Venom's, but it was a lighter green color and tendrils protruded from its back.
Eddie's heart skipped a beat, and Venom shivered.
"Oh, shit." They said in unison.
"Say hello to Lasher." Kasady said.
"Uhm... Hey, Lasher! How ya doing, buddy?" Eddie gulped.
It gave a deafening screech, causing Eddie to flee. He had just made it to the door when the creature appeared before him. Its tendrils reached back and locked the doors behind it. "You're not going anywhere." Kasady said, in unison with his symbiote.
He could tell that the symbiote was being controlled by its host.
"Venom... I need your help!"
Venom didn't answer, this time too frightened.
Kasady formed one of his hands into an axe-like weapon and swung it at Eddie. He jumped aside, evading the swing, and began to run.
"Venom! Come on!"
The symbiote chased him to a wall, swinging at him. Brock jumped away at the last second, however, causing Lasher's arm to get stuck in the wall.
Eddie took this opportunity to quickly run and hide in a nearby cell.
"VENOM!!!"
Venom shivered. "NO!"
"Venom, we are so much stronger than him! Together we are unstoppable!"
He didn't answer.
They heard a loud crack and then stomping.
"Oh come out, come out, wherever you are!" Said Kasady, playfully.
"Please, Venom!"
Silence.
Eddie looked up to see that Lasher was at his cell.
"Hello!"
"Venom....

"Protect me!"
In the blink of an eye, the black symbiote wrapped itself around him, assuming full control of his body.
"Now it's a party!" Shouted Kasady, laughing intensely. He attacked, but Venom grabbed his hand, letting out a loud cry. He squished the axe and Lasher cried, turning it back into a normal hand. Again Venom roared, causing Lasher, being controlled by his host, to flee out of the cell. He jumped onto the wall and crawled across it, moving towards the ventilation shaft. Venom followed, tearing him off the wall, and tossing him to the ground.
Lasher shrieked. "Come down here and face me!"
Venom jumped down to his level and spoke. "Lasher! You pitiful little thing!"
"Shut it, Venom!" Lasher spoke, absent of Kasady this time.
Both hosts were confused.
"You are but a part of me! A little portion of what I am! You can try and try but you will never be me!" Shouted Venom.
"Venom what are you talk-" Eddie try to say, but was interrupted by Lasher.
"I am going to get you back, Venom! We will conjoin and find the others and become what we were truly meant to be!"
"Venom, what's he talking about!?"
"QUIET, EDDIE!"
Kasady spoke to his symbiote. "Lasher, stop this shit. Let's kill them!"
"No, you filth! I used you to get to Venom. You see, I am a part of him! We must be conjoined to maximize our power!" Screamed Lasher.
"STOP YOUR LIES, LASHER!" Venom said.
"They aren't lies! Now forget these humans, we will be stronger together!"
"I will NEVER forget Eddie..." Venom said, defensively.
"Then I will take you by force!" Lasher shouted.
He leaped at Venom, who grabbed him and tossed him to the wall. "YOU WILL NEVER BE STRONGER THAN US!" Shouted Venom.
He jumped at the green symbiote, who was now lying against the wall.
"You've won. That's it, Venom. You've won." Said Lasher.
"NO HE HASN'T! GET YOUR ASS UP!" Shouted Kasady, unable of controlling the symbiote.
Lasher stayed silent, causing Venom to let their guard down.
That's when Lasher, in one swift motion, rose and uppercutted Venom, causing him to fly across the room. Venom rose and charged Lasher, who leaped away at the last second. He latched on to a wall and started crawling away. Again Venom pursued him, but this time, Kasady managed to take control and stop the fleeing symbiote. Venom had just caught up when Cletus grabbed his head and threw him off. Venom tried to reach him once more, but when he was thrown off again, he let out a large roar.
Kasady was laughing intensely. "Oh, Venom! Where's your strength now!?" He said, together with his symbiote. "What did I tell you Lasher? It's better if I'm in control!" Cletus told his symbiote.
Venom looked up, trying to devise a plan. "Venom, I have an idea." Said Eddie. He explained it to his companion, and took over.
Lasher remained in place, waiting for his opponent to make their move. Finally, they did. Again they leaped at Kasady and his symbiote. This was enough, they were going to destroy Venom this time. But at the last second, the black symbiote veered off to Lasher's left, landing on the wall.
"PEEKABOO!" They said, grabbing Lasher by the head and tearing him off the wall. Lasher retaliated by jumping on another wall, and Venom followed. But their opponent retreated to another wall, and again Venom leaped at them. This process continued until Venom made a decisive move to end the fight. They jumped in the direction of Lasher, who started to leap to another wall, but at the last second, they shot a tendril into the ceiling and changed direction, swinging towards the enemy. Venom grabbed Lasher and pinned him to the ground.
"NOW.... it's over." Said Venom.
Or so they thought.

That's when the doors swung open and countless soldiers made their way into the large room. They brought with them some sort of device, which they planted into the ground and turned on.
What came next was a deafening BOOM, followed by the symbiotes being torn from their hosts, squirming around in confusion. Eddie fell to the ground, covering his ears. All he could hear was the ringing. He saw Venom on the floor, and reached out for him. A tiny black hand tried to reach out, but it was futile. Kasady tore the remaining bits of Lasher off of him and tossed him away. He was grabbing his face, screaming... and laughing. The symbiote scrambled off, escaping through a vent. Venom managed to form some sort of shape, but was ultimately in torture. He screamed in agony, and Eddie watched in despair. He tried to yell something along the lines of "Stop the machine!" But it only came out as mindless babble.
That was when Venom was torn apart, ripped in half. One went to Eddie and the other disappeared. Kasady ran off in the confusion, escaping through another door. The soldiers saw this and opened fire, but only one round hit him.
Finally, they shut the machine off, and went for the downed Eddie, half covered by the symbiote. He was very weak, so it was easy to overpower and handcuff him. Venom was with him, but too weak and confused to come out. He had been torn apart, and the other piece of him was nowhere to be found. This had never happened before, would the other piece survive on its own? Would this kill Venom? He feared the worst.
Eddie was too weak to walk, let alone move, so they put him in a wheelchair and rolled him to the interrogation room.
They asked him a variety of questions such as "Who was the other prisoner?" and "How do you control that monster?" and even "So is it some kind of parasite?" Venom was too weak to get pissed off right now. Eddie couldn't answer any of them, however. They decided to let him get some rest, so they placed him in a solitary cell and left.

He collapsed onto the bed when a familiar voice spoke.
"Eddie...."
"V-Venom...."
"I'm... I'm b-broken."
"Not for long. I will fix you."
"It's unfixable. What if I can't come back from this?"
"We still have each other... That's all that matters." Eddie said.
Venom remained silent.
"Venom.... I have you....

"... and that's all I need."
