This tutorial will cover 3 ways on how I usually add a gloss / highlight on lips :) Let's get started!
ㅡ❊ㅡ
1. Open a new canvas and add the picture of your desired faceclaim. Make your desired adjustments. Smoothing out the skin and everything with the smudge/blur tool is suggested.
2. Add a new layer on top of your pic. Select the Airbrush (Trapezoid 40%), pick your desired color, preferably from the natural color of the lips of your faceclaim, and color the lips. Set the layer's blending mode to Linear Burn or Multiply, whichever looks better.

3. After coloring/enhancing the color of your lips, add a new layer. Set its blending mode to Add. Select the Pen (Fade) brush and make sure your Stabilizer (10) and Force Fade (100%) is on.

VER 1. With the Pen (Fade) brush, make slightly curved lines on the center part of the lower lip. Feel free to adjust the size of the brush, it doesn't need to be the same size for every line. For the upper lip, focus on the center edge and add a one-stroke outline. For the opacity of the brush, you can reduce it to make it look more natural.
