Going back in time
to the day when I first met you
Shriveled in fear as I sat beside you
I was nervous;
And you were timid
The first time I made you smile
was really an exquisite feeling.
I became ecstatic since then
and became comfortable with you.
Time passed by
we became such great friends
supporting each other;
holding each other's hand when frightened,
like a couple in disguise.
Our story continued
And I can just describe
what I feel with these six words-
I
look
for
you
in
everyone.
I look for you even when i'm busy
I look for you even when I don't know
where to find you
and that's when I remembered,
–You left me.
You left me.
And I do not know
whether you liked it or not,
but please
Help me.
I can feel the pain resonating within my chest
constantly telling me to find you
shouting your name every night
desperate to see your smile.
I became so engulfed in your presence
Prayed to the winged seraphims of heaven
to bring you back to me
You, Yes you;
You are the very person
whom my soul loves.
I tried to contact you,
but you ignored me.
Did you really care about me?
or do you just treat everyone else
the same as me?
How unfortunate it is,
that the person whom you love most
is the one who can hurt you most
and I, I fell in love with a person
who is deeply in love
with someone else.
