CHAPTER 4 : THORN AND ACT

Author's POV

"Do you search something?"

"Yes, father." She said distractedly while looking around all the house.

"What is it sweetie? Maybe i could find it for you?"

She sat up on the chair and cry out of sudden..

"Heyy chae.. what happen? Tell me..i'm here." Her father went to her and place his hand on her back. Stroke her back slowly..

She looked up at her father..

"I..i.."

"You?"

"I lost mom's rose bridal comb." She said as she crying even more.

Knock knock knock

"Come in.." he said as he continue sniffing the thing that he hold in his hand while closing his eyes.

The lieutenant came in and walking towards the young king's desk.

"Dont come here unless you get any info of that girl."

"I got it, sir."

He quickly opened his eyes and put the thing on his hair.

The Lieutenant chuckle and stopping himself from laughing even more.

"Is it funny?"

The Lieutenant nodded. "You looked like a girl, sir."

"Shut up. Go on what you supposed to say."

"I found that.. she just moved here with her father around our Kingdom. She is a singer at the charity house, Captain."

"Good." He smiled from ear to ear hearing that.

"Captain.. may i ask?"

"Yes, go on."

"The thing that on your hair.. who is the owner, sir?"

The young king smiled again while looking at the window.. "the girl who suit to have it. I found it a few days ago. In the midnight."

"Are you sure thats a girl?"

"Yeah.. i'm not a gay you know."

"No.. i mean.. are you sure its not a ghost, captain?"

"Why you said so?"

"The wonderful scent that lingering on your nose once you sniffing it.. plus.. it was midnight.. what if.. she is a ghost, Captain?"

The young king looked at him again.

"Well.. i dont care to fall in love with a ghost as long as thats the same girl that make my heart flutters when i saw her."

"Aishh where did i put tho?"

"Wait .. let me recall where did I go?"
