Haibara's POV:

'what are you doing, kudo-kun?'

'does anything of this connect to them?'

'what do you mean by plan?'

'why KID? Why him?'

Questions are still flowing in my head, questions that needed some answer from him

I walk alone from school, separated from the kids, walking alone is great to think

Especially since something is different from my normal routine

Kudo really doesn't attend at school today

"I'm home, hakase"

I said as I entered the house

"Oh ai-chan, welcome home!"

I quickly saw hakase as his on the couch watching TV

"How's school, ai-chan?"

I sat down next to hakase and get my magazine as I answer hakase's question

"Kudo didn't attend"

"What do you mean?"

I glance at hakase's eyes and saw that I got his attention on the words I've given to him

Sigh

I close my magazine and look straight at hakase's eyes as I strike a conversation

"I knew it, Kudo doesn't spoke to you"

"Ai-chan?"

"Ayumi saw him... In the middle of nowhere, not far but not near the convenience store"

"What is shinichi doing there?"

"He's with Kaito KID"

"Shinichi is with the phantom thief? Why?"

"I don't know, too. But..."

I slowly turn my attention on the dark sky through the window
