Credence was scared, terrified. He was locked into a cage and was restricted from doing anything. Twice a day he was allowed to eat, drink, go to the toilet and clean himself. But only if he was able to do all that in seven minutes. If he was too late, the boss would know and he wouldn't be let out of the small personal prison for 24 hours.
Credence knew what was in his pocket was very important, and that he had to show it to Nagini. But how would he do that without being allowed to talk?
Credence moved the curtain that was in front of the bars away slowly and called Nagini, very softly.
Nagini didn't react. "Nagini, please." Credence whispered, desperate for her to come to him. Nagini froze and stopped moving completely.
Nagini let out a deep breath and looked around, she was terribly afraid to be caught by the boss. There was nobody in sight so she put down the cloth she was cleaning with and made her way over to credence.
"I had to show this to you, Nagini. It's from [your name]," Credence whispered as he handed her the rectangle piece of parchment. Nagini took it and again looked over her shoulder.
It was a short note. Very short, yet it made Nagini tear up a little. She recognized your handwriting. Nagini put away the parchment swiftly, making a mental note to herself to destroy it later and blinked away her tears.
The note had said that you would come get them, save them and take them with you far away from that horrible place.
"We're going to be saved, Credence," Nagini said, smiling a little since a very long time and Credence nodded, smiling seeing Nagini smile.
"Yes we are."
